After my Gigi's spay, I purchased this because my puppy hated the cone and the inflatable cone. I was very happy with this and so was Gigi.....very comfortable and easy to put on. I bought another bodysuit from a different maker and I will say that I used this one more.....the thing that I loved was that Gigi could go potty without taking the suit off or unstrapping it. Very happy with purchase as it was comfortable living, protected her stitches and was easy to go potty.

I searched to find an alternative to the awful cone for my dog post surgery. He had torn both ACL and was looing forward to an 8 week recovery. I was told he would have to have a cone for 2 weeks to stop him getting to his wound.I found this product and thought I would give it a try. It worked like a dream. I got the mixed leg, - short in the front and long in the back. He is an extremely active little dog and not one time did we have issue with him trying to chew on his wound or stitches. I definitely recommend cutting the hole as it can be a bit of a wrestle getting it on. There were no accidents, hold is perfectly placed with the right size.I liked it also because my dog does not have a thick coat, (Rough coat terrier and it helped keep him warm after being shaved.I would absolutely use it again and recommend it wholeheartedly. I appreciate not having to completely humiliate him with the notorious cone..

My 16 year old dog had FHO Hip Surgery and would not leave her incision alone. We tried several different cones of shame but she could still reach her hip. This suit did the trick! It made the difference of being able to sleep at night and having to watch the dog all the time to make sure she wasn't pulling her stitches out. (I got the long sleeve version) It's easy to put on and she doesn't seem to mind wearing it. Much better than an Elizabethan collar which was traumatizing her.

Best post surgery garment we've tried.Size 11 fit our large 56 pound Aussie.She's able to go potty without removing garment.More durable than all the other brands we bought.

I didn’t know this product existed until I did a search for cones. This is a fantastic product as it not only prevents self-licking of the spay area, but it also prevents other dogs in the household from getting to it. I bought a different brand suit to start with and returned it because the fit was difficult and it did not have openings for peeing or pooping. This suit had both and with the exception of a little pee that gets on the opening, it is does not have a fussy fold back clasp system like the other suits. My dog is 16lbs and about 15” in length from the neck to the base of the tail. A size 7 fits her fine but I think the size 6 would fit more snug. However, they did not have a size 6 in stock so I went with a 7.

The size charts are all different. The picture is blurry on one, says my dog wears a size 6 on one, and a 7 on the chart that came with the item. According to everything she’s on the smaller end of a 6 so I bought that size. It fits nice in her stomach but is to tight tonzip around her neck. Since I got this for after surgery when she tried it on some blood got on it and at that point it’s to late to return. If you get one that fits your dog it does the job.

I have a tiny 5-pound cat. I ordered the size 2, based on the measurements, but the legs were too long and too tight at her joints. I snipped off the arms and leg fabric, making it more like a vest. I kept one leg sleeve attached for the leg needing covering, and my cat can now moves freely and her healing leg is still protected.

Size six fits my lean 30lb frenchie, even at the neck which looked too small! Very wide rear genital opening, can be sewn if using for heats, but I'll try with heat panties and leave open to keep pressure off swollen area. Zipper means she can't wiggle out as with velcro suits!Great reviews from a picky user :)
