I got a bad one
Diamond Crown is well-known for quality humidors. The humidor I received (in my opinion) was not manufactured up to my expectations. The exterior of the box was absolutely beautiful and the top and bottom fit perfectly! However, there was a very noticeable space between the pieces of the interior front corner-joint of the box where the lid meets the box, even though the exterior corner was perfect. The inner linings that extend into the top of the box were also nonuniform - only by millimeters, but noticeably uneven. Maybe it's just me, but I expected better craftsmanship for a $350 humidor. After seasoning the humidor as per the manufacturer's instructions, I was unable to get the humidor to maintain an interior humidity level above 55%.I contacted the vendor and once they received the returned item, they declared the humidor to be "damaged, probably during shipment" and graciously offered to replace the unit or refund my total purchase price plus shipping. I agreed to the refund.ps I have since visited every tobacco shop carrying Diamond Crown humidors within 50 miles of my home and found only one (out of six) that was (IMHO) acceptable. The DC humidor I finally purchased cost me full retail and was not the exterior wood I preferred, but the interior and joints are tight and precise and well-crafted. And, it works perfectly. If you plan on obtaining a DC, or any other pricey humidor, and expect your money's worth, I suggest you physically inspect it thoroughly before purchase. Tobacco shops will not even consider returns on a seasoned humidor, whether it works properly or not.

Not worth the Hassle!!!!
I ordered a humidor from this company through here and it never arrived. I was patient enough to wait an added week to the latest estimated delivery date just to be fair, but Nope never arrived! I continuously contacted the seller for my products where abouts but got no reply, when they finally did reply they had me call a till free number. The customer service rep. Which I spoke to didn't even seemed sorry or concerned with my issue. He proceeded to tell me that they tried to contact me many times to tell me they couldn't send me that product anymore because it was out of stock. In actuality I did not receive a single message relaying this, and online it still says my product is in stock! My only options were to switch my choice to another, and he only have me one other product option! Not worth the hassle of ordering through them and dealing with this, if I didn't badger them would I ever even have received my product or at least legitimately received a message of them informing me of the issue?

Top of the line for a reason
This is a high quality humidor with a high quality price. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. I've had two other humidors that just couldn't keep a proper humidity level here in Colorado. I tried all of the gels, solutions, etc and no luck. I decided to give the Diamond Crown a shot before giving up and just buying my cigars when I wanted one. I got this from Matador Cigars (via Amazon) and they did a great job of packing it and following up to make sure I knew how to season it and prep it for the dry Colorado climate. Incredibly well made with a nice seal and heavy lid to keep the moisture in. And by the way, it is gorgeous!

Not happy with this purchase
Bought from another retailer. No instructions or Warranty Card in box except for a small booklet. Main Flaw is the Humidifier doesn't attach properly to the so called magnetized lid. It slides down to the bottom of the lid. One Concern is that water will leak onto cigars. Manufacturer offered a peel off magnet that attaches to the unit which should then hold magnetically. OK but what happens when you must replace the Humidifier unit? (Update: what customer service said on phone was wrong- they sent a magnetic plate with two screws you're supposed to attach yourself to the lid. This is their proposed "fix" which compromises the integrity of the cedar lining. ) I later found out most of the "new" units lack the magnetized metal inside the cedar lid, contrary to what they advertise as their Invisible Magnetic Attachment System. No Recall from DC either. So will be shopping for some other Humi system. I have premium and rare cigars intended for long term aging and responsible storage. Not happy with this purchase. I paid $350 and expected better quality than this from Diamond Crown. (There are normally no refunds on already seasoned units even if only one week old.) Will be getting a proper Cabinet soon and giving this away to a friend who smokes cheaper cigars.

Somewhat disappointed and deceived
I ordered this exact humidor from an online cigar shop. I had already received and returned two other humidors of a different brand and decided to upgrade to the Diamond Crown thinking that it was an American made product. I was wrong. It appears that a few of their humidors are made in the USA, however most are made in China. But that's wasn't so much the deal breaker, for a lot of quality things are made in China, Apple products come to mind. Exterior finish is very good, however the interior fit and finish is not what I would have liked. Joints were not aligned and small gaps were apparent. Also on one exterior corner a small blemish was visible. Since I had already sent two humidors back I decided to keep this one. With a little sand paper and a chisel, and some furniture repair stick I was able too make it work. I haven't seasoned and used it as yet, but I'm hoping for the best. Just a word of caution. Stay away from cheap humidors. They don't seal properly and they use the cheapest hardware they can get.And the craftsmanship varies greatly. Savoy humidors come to mind, poor workmanship. My next humidor will be a Daniel Marshall. They have an excellent reputation for quality. Pricy but worth it.
