Be ware of cheap imitations
This is an excellent weighted pen. I use it because I had chronically bad handwriting. This really helps.I have previously bought the mischief cheaper pens that look identical and they were no different than using a normal pen so be warned.

Arrived broken
Arrived before delivery date expected. Really pleased, but when it was opened the tip casing was broken. Not happy

Great pen
I injured my hand and This allows me to write easily and legibly. The wide case and added weight make it easier to write legibly and less painfully.

Pen was not weighted as advertised
Just a generic thick pen, no weights were included. Definitely weighed a lot less than 100 grams.

Excellent black ink
Pen addict and avid journaler here! Unfortunately, my arthritis is winning when it comes to handwriting in my journals so I went looking for an adaptive pen. I bought a couple of similar big fat pens to compare. The weighted center of gravity in this one makes the difference . See photo of metal cylinder I removed from the pen barrel. Also, the black ink cartridge is on par w/ the smoothest of gel inks like Energel and even darker than Namiki fountain pen ink. See swatch photo. It also came with a nice felt pouch. I took off a star for the blue refill as the ink is of low quality and seems to be a different brand than and ink type altogether from the black refill. The other adaptive pens I tried also had low quality ink. The good news is I can refill this with my choice of ink. It uses a common Parker-type refill, but I can also use Energel and euro-type refills trimmed to fit the short barrel.
