Beautiful book! Glossy bright pages and pics! The children pictured represent children of many colors: Asian, Black, Red-head...all eating a fruit or vegetable in whatever color the page is about: eating a strawberry on the red page for example. Opposite the page of the child is a page with that particular color as the background and 4 vibrant pictures of other fruits & vegetables that are also that color - such as Apple, Raspberries, Cherries & Tomato for red. Everything is labeled in Arabic and English. Great first words book for a child in a bilingual home!

I actually didn't realize I ordered an Arabic edition but I know an Arabic speaking child I can give it to....I love the pictures, multicultural photos of children. Some foods might not be familiar to all American children (figs, lichis, guava, brie cheese anyone?) but it can be something to search for in the grocery store.

This book is just amazing. I love the colors and diversity. My daughter loves it and I love it just as much as her for the material for her to expand her vocabulary in both languages.
