Old Forest Dry Aged Salami Sausage By Piller's (Black Kassel) 2.4 Lb.

Being European born I have had the pleasure of enjoying the different varieties of wurst in particular Salami. Of all the Salamis, I believe the best are Hungarian, Italian and German, but I was amazed by this Salami, it is nice and spicy, dry and of excellent quality just like it should be. It can match up to any other Salami in Europe, the only difference being that it is a little more spicy, which I like.

I lived in Germany when young, and delighted in eating German food. The Old Forest meat was tastier than this Salami. I will try to get some imported from Rineland Faltz.

I was really impressed by this Salami. Has a great kick and flavor! You can make a lot of Sandwiches or Charcuterie with one 2 lb. stick. I recommend this highly! If you order during the summer or warm weather, I would pay the extra S&H to rush it.

It’s so tasty…. It arrived fresh and I ordered in cold season this way it was save of ice packaging fails. All good will order one more before warm season!

This sausage is tasty but it is different from what I used to buy locally, not as aromatic and skinny. The flavor is though as good. It is definitely pricey. It arrived pretty warm since I was too cheap to ship it via faster delivery so I would not ordered again in the summer.
