First, let me say that this is a gorgeous scarf. I was afraid it might be stiff, but it is soft and silky, and the shimmer is lovely but not overly pronounced. The color on my monitor looks like grey and taupe, but the scarf is actually a beautiful blue with the taupe. The issue with the tassels might make it a no go for some. The tassels are sparse, and to me they cheapen the overall look. BUT don't try to remove them. (I speak from experience.) They aren't the kind of tassels that are sewn onto a finished scarf; they are part of the actual blue weave that runs throughout the design part of the scarf. This means that if you cut them off, the ends of the scarf start to unravel. I was able to repair mine by using invisible thread to make a narrow hem on each end of the scarf. I'm very happy with the result, but some might consider that step to be a step too far. If you think you won't mind some sparse tassels, you might find this scarf perfect. Surely the price is reasonable, the delivery was trouble free, and there is a little care card enclosed with the scarf.
