Mason Cash (Rayware Limited) 6" dog bowl: The Genuine Article, NOT a Knock Off
After reading the review suggesting this is a knock off, I have to reply that I have indeed bought Mason Cash (which are manufactured by Rayware Limited) knock offs in the past, without being aware. I'd bought these bowls YEARS ago, and when I managed to crack them (difficult to do b/c they're so sturdy), I bought replacements that were of significantly lesser quality, and made the assumption that Mason Cash (Rayward Limited) had chosen to make a poorer quality product based on their profit margin. It therefore came as a welcome surprise that, once these bowls arrived from England, they were indeed the same quality items I had bought originally. In the US it's practically impossible to find the 6" dog bowl. I searched far and wide. The bowls are heavy enough not to be scattered along the floor by my dogs. The glaze makes it nearly impossible for anything to stick to, making washing them an easy task.I'd also recommend, if you can find them, getting a 6" dog water bowl (has "water" instead of "dog" written on the side, and is significantly deeper, which helps to avoid spillage while my dogs are drinking). They are made with the same cane/blue colors, but I've also seen them just in cane.In anticipation of getting another dog soon, I'm going to order another bowl tonight.

My favourite dog dish - shame it has arrived smashed twice
Here is hoping third time lucky. I have ordered this dog bowl twice and each time it has arrived smashed. It definitely was not adequately packed for its transatlantic trip. Packing inadequate but based on years of previous experience the bowl itself is wonderful. 5 stars for a design classic that is weighty enough it stays put . Love the tan and blue colour combo. All one needs in addition is an Aga for the ultimate English kitchen.

Happy Drinking for my dog!
My dog loves it! We had gotten a Mason Cash bowl for our rabbits and the dog kept going to their bowl to drink, so we were forced defensively to get her her very own. She was very gratified. This bowl seems to keep the water cooler and fresher, at least to her taste, than other bowls we have tried. Perfect size and shape, not tipped easily, the usual nice quality of all of Mason Cash's products. Nice glaze, color is lovely. It is made in China, for those to whom that matters. It holds 2 1/2 cups of water.

I am totally happy with the dish
I did finally receive the dog dish, but not on the day it was promised, but that is of no fault of yours. I am totally happy with the dish. I had bought one some years ago and wanted to get another just like it. Thank also for being so helpful in checking the delay on receiving it.

You can feel very comfortable making any purchase from this company.
Attractive, cute and very functional; arrived extremely well packed to avoid breakage. The only change I would have made would be to make the side wall a bit thicker (I was looking more for crockery type pottery) but am very, very happy with this feeding bowl.

PERFECT FOR ACTIVE DOGS OR CLUMSY PUPPIES-WILL NOT SPILL.
just the right width and depth for eating easily and without spillage or knocking over. I've had one before for other dogs and after 31 years I finally managed to break it. So for my new puppy I ordered this, perfect size for Portuguese Water Dog (will be 50#.)

A bit smaller than expected.
These were a bit smaller than I expected them to be, but they are a great quality, so I'm fairly satisfied.

Hit and miss with damages by the looks of it
Bought four of these as we have 2 pups (2 in use, 2 in wash) but as you can see from the pics one of them arrived damaged, which was fine. Tried to do a simple replacement, but couldn't do this, I had to return it, wait for the refund, then I decided to buy a single one, but turns out i can't just buy a single one, I had to buy another 3 to make an even number, so I now have 6 bowls. Unfortunately one of the replacements is also chipped, but I do not want to go through the refund process again to have a buy another 2 because it won't allow me to buy a single item or simply to just replace the one broken item. I think its just another way to get money. Otherwise I was really happy with the items as they are a nice size and really durable as my pups knock across the floor when running for their ball through to the back garden so not entirely sure how I received two broken ones on separate orders. Something that may make these better is a rubber base so that they don't slide across kitchen floor tiles.

Lovely, but be careful when ordering - check the size!
We ordered 3 of these, one each for food for our GSD/Retriever cross and Jack Russel/Spaniel Cross, and a "shared" water bowl (they like to share the water bowl out of preference it seems!)We checked the reviews and ordered based on good experiences and reviews from others, but.... at the last moment we changed the choice of colour without noticing that it changed the size of the bowl. When 3 'small' bowls arrived and we were expecting 20cm in size, we knew the GSD/R would never be able to use his, and it would be tight for the JR/S, and the idea was to stop the GSD dragging the bowl around as a plaything (metal bowls make a great 'gong' it seems!) Have sent them back and ordered the larger size. The supplier doesn't accept liability for cost of returns so we are £10 down as a result, so be careful - but really nice quality

Bowled me over 😒
Hi. I have two staffies. One adult one pup. I've used mason cash bowls for years with several dogs and have never had a problem. They are robust and very easy to clean. I use this 18cm version for the pup, a bigger version for the adult dog and their biggest bowl for water outdoors in the summer. My older staffie can lift a 5' x 15kilo log and carry it round the garden. She hasn't made a dent in her bowl. A little expensive maybe? But highly recommended.Seller...The bowl arrived quickly and very well packed.

Is this really Mason Cash?
Comparing this item to a known authentic Mason Cash dog bowl I am questioning whether this is the real deal? In picture 1 the bowl purchased on Amazon is the top one with the known authentic bowl on the bottom. It is clear that the quality isn't right. The stamp on the bottom of the authentic bowl is engraved into the bowl where as you can see in the image this is in ink. I maybe wrong but reported to Amazon just in case.

Only one problem, neither our dogs nor cat can read.
If you happen to have dumb@ss boxers or french bulldogs who put their front paws on plates, in bowls, pick up bowls etc then this is a good alternative to a heavy nylon bowl, these tend to stay put rather than go walkies.Whilst it says "dog" on it, none of ours can read & they also sup dirty water from buckets & the like when the fancy takes them, ..& if the cat can read then he is not bothered because he will "take ownership" of anything (especially if it annoys dogs)
