Moor: What They didn't Teach You in Black History Class

I understood the point being made based on what I'm already familiar with. The information is important but should be written better.

Great historical information guide.

I was very disappointed in this book. I felt it had a lot of opinions instead of facts and the book looks as though it was written by a student for a school project. There are pictures of actors and memes in it listed with captions and seldom useful information! The information had some key points but I was looking to use this in my homeschooling for my daughter and I have to sift through it to find the facts and omit the opinions. I felt it was a waste of money and was not worth the effort. I will however keep the book, for SOME of the facts but definitely not informative enough past pure interest of someone else's opinions. Not worthy for education in a school setting nor to a child's school curriculum. This is my personal opinion of the book. I also want to add that it was printed 2 days after I purchased it. The copyright has mmddyy in the back of the book.

This is a book of interesting pieces of moorish fact s or information. Not really a cohesive book of well researched scholarly topics. Not really well written either but I did enjoy it.

I was fooled by the title of this book, "Moors What They didn't Teach You in Black History Class". With such a title, I expected to read about the African Moors who occupied Western Europe (Iberia) for seven hundred years and the civilization and education they brought to Europe. Instead, this book is a mere fifty-five pages of incoherent, unintelligible string of words in large print throughout and with unrelated and poorly presented black and white pictures.It was an absolute waste of my time, never mind my £4.66, buying and reading this so-called book. I have binned it.

Merely coherent as presents more opinions the than facts, about the Moors from their beginning, to the reasons of their collapse and for what they should be remembered. A very poor book which presents mostly statements and pictures, outlining a lack of linear and sustainable information for the reader. Although is good the keep those scattered notions to be added to another and better textbook. Adviced for who seeks details careless of a smooth reading.

Terrible book. Written like someone in primary school. Wil be binned.
