All The Things I Never Said

Highlighting the fact that this is written by a girl a few years younger that me, i felt very relatable to every single poem. It was very raw, emotional, and clever. I LOVED this book! This is a must read for teens!Be careful, this book is very cool yet extremely short, if you don't like short books then this is not the one to have!

When I first read the introduction, I almost put the kindle down. I began writing poetry well over a decade ago, at the same age this poet outlines she is in her introduction, so naturally I felt I wouldn’t be able to resonate well with the poetry. But I was very pleasantly surprised and I’m thankful I didn’t swap out for a different poetry collection.This collection took me back in time. I felt like I was reading the thoughts I’d had at 14 myself — and was very shocked at the quality of the poetry. This poet captured the chaotic emotional state of being a teenager, with centralizations on puppy love and loss, and simple but powerfully insightful moments sprinkled in.In most cases, I would say grammatical errors take away significantly from poetry and evolve an otherwise beautiful poem into something juvenile. In this collection, I did not feel that. The poetry was simple, provoking and impressive knowing a young teenager could be so insightful.Enjoyable read.

I enjoyed these poems and could tell they deeply resonated with the author. It did feel like it began to get repetitive as I went on, but that doesn't take away from the messages Krell wants to relay.

I purchased this book for my daughter (12). She had asked me several times to buy it for her. She has read it several times and asked me to read some of the pages she felt I would like too.I sincerely believe Mae Krell has a gift of Petry and writing in general. Her depth of subject is appropriate and stimulates thought and discussion between my daughter and me. It is obvious she has written these poems from her experiences and has given them a new life for others to experience.I look forward to more works from this very talented young lady.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it’s the perfect read for anyone who is going through a tough time right now.

I loved this book. So raw and tuthful. I could really relate to this.I read the book in one night!

I had high hopes for this book, even after reading mixed reviews. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but I was disappointed after the first couple of pages. I didn't even finish the book. It lacked depth, meaning, and didn't really evoke any emotion, except boredom, though a handful of stanzas and poems were insightful--not much really stood out.

I don't usually write reviews, but i found it necessary to review this one.I found this book randomly on my Kindle App, i thought "hmm, the title looks interesting" and immediately downloaded this book.I am a casual reader, i read few pages each day. But as soon as I read the introduction, i had only one thought "i must read the whole book". And so, i completed this book in about an hour.The poems are Amazing, considering that the author is only 14, they are exquisite. And many poems were relatable, there were flaws obviously, but when i was 14, i only read Diary of Wimpy Kid and Tom Gates. This is totally a must read.

This poetry collection was incredibly raw and moving. I think the poems will stick with me for a really long time. I love poetry.
