Bessport Tent Footprint for 1-2-3-4 Person Tent Waterproof Camping Tarp with Drawstring Carrying Bag for Picnic, Hiking and Other Outdoor Activities

I had never used a tarp under my tent but wanted something to give a little more ground protection mainly from things that might poke through the floor of my tent. And any additional water-proofing was just a bonus. I used this tent footprint with my 2-3 person Bessport tent and it fits perfectly. It's not overly thick so if there is something sharp that you miss when clearing your camping spot I don't know how well it would prevent a puncture. But it is very lightweight and does provide some additional puncture protection and water proofing. We camped in a torrential downpour last year with this tarp and there was no water in the tent the next morning. Not a drop. Size and weight are non-issues really even if your packing in. It provides just a little more protection for your tent floor for a minimal cost.

One of my must haves when I am outside. Definitely recommended to everyone that gets wet doing outdoor activities. Absorbent and easily portable.

2nd UPDATE: After several email exchanges with seller, I am confident they have done all they can do to resolve the problem. I upgraded my rating to 5 stars. The product itself is good quality, and would be a 5 star product if it were sized correctly. The seller offered to send me a 2 person footprint with a $5 refund, then informed me that they had none in stock, I asked them to send me a 4 person footprint, with no refund. In the mean time, as it became obvious that they simply had no footprint sized correctly, I would need to cut down something too big, and modify it to fit. I ordered a 2 person footprint, which was ordered before they ran out. I will try it, and it it is the size listed, 55" x 90", I will need to cut it and modify to fit. The 4 person footprint I got, is a nice size for a tarp and I can find a use for it. I could not give this a 5 star rating, because NONE of their footprints seem to be made with the rain fly tie down buckle as pictured with the 2-3 and 4 person sizes. When i get the 2 person size, I hope it will be as pictured, with the grommets for tent poles, and buckle ends for the rain fly, but I am fairly confident I will be looking to buy buckles to add to my modification. A footprint should be slightly smaller than the tent it is under. About an inch smaller on each side. This tarp, is about correct on the narrow sides. It is a couple inches smaller that the tent is, which is fine. However, the LENGTH is way too long. About 10 inches too long. and about 8 to 10 inches is sticking out from the one end of the tent. It collects rain water and could pool under the tent, which is one reason we use a footprint, and that is to prevent pooling under the tent floor. UPDATE: I have discussed this matter with the after-sales department through about 10 emails, and I have determined that this matter cannot be resolved. The manufacturer of this footprint and the tent simply has no footprint that fits this tent. The tent floor is advertised as :"Interior floor dimensions: 84.7 x 41.34in" While the footprint is advertised as: footprint measures 90.5 x 39.3in The tent that I RECEIVED is measured by me, to be 47" x 89". Just a glance tells the story. The tent I received is not the tent that was advertised. The footprint is much too narrow, and somewhat too long. The rainfly cannot be attached to the poles without the tent, and the tent cannot be staked to the footprint. My intended recourse is to purchase the 2 person footprint and cut it to correct size, (it would still be too long and also too wide), then hem it, and reattach the stake out points with grommet and buckle. I removed a star, because the issue cannot be resolved by the seller, and I kept a star because I had to, as well as because the seller made a heroic effort to resolve this within their ability. **END UPDATE One more complaint about this product, is that the grommet tabs at each corner should match up exactly with the stake anchor tabs of the tent floor with each properly laid out to final set up. Obviously, the wrong length makes this impossible, but even if the foot print is folded back to correct length, neither length nor width is correct to match the tent itself. I like the tent, with a couple caveats, but this footprint is not good. I may have to do what I normally do, and cut up a poly tarp and add tabs and grommets to fit correctly. Note, that if I were to stake out the footprint in the wind, with the wrong size, I cannot stake the tent floor corners down to keep it from blowing away while I set the rods, at least I cannot stake the floor corners to the footprint corners. Annoying.

It is lightweight and thin while providing additional protection against puncture for the bottom of the tent, which is also thin itself. Also helped keep water between the ground and the footprint instead of the ground and the bottom of the tent. Fits the Bessport 2P tent perfectly and the pole ends are kept in place snugly. Little play and doesn’t come loose if you need to relocate your tent or dry it out.

Practica, ligaba, impermeable

Great foot print for my one man bivy. I ordered a larger size so that I have some extra covering the ground in front of my tent entrance so I keep from tracking dirt inside my tent. The stakes provided are ok but I got some longer ones because I wanted to stake out the tent and cloth with the same stakes. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice lightweight ground cloth Good value for theoney and I'm looking forward to using it for several years.

Product arrived fast. I was thinking it was gonna look bigger but it fit better that what I was expecting.

Tal cual lo dice el título, es lo que ofrece, sin embargo aún no me ah tocado probarla en la lluvia (ya más adelante me tocará hacer la actualización), pero hasta ahora ha cumplido la función de proteger la casa de campaña, yo tengo la bessport de 2 personas y queda a la medida, ni más ni menos... Es buena opción para tu tienda y para ahorrar espacio e ir ligero.

What is there is say about a ground sheet, but this sheet was used with the tent in a torrential downpour and did it job perfectly. It connects easy and seamlessly to the tent. The only comment, I'll make is that the tent has an excellent door design, which prevents water from going into the tent while its raining. This groundsheet doesn't cover this door opening area. This is a nice place to leave shoes or thongs when entering the tent. Otherwise can't fault it.
