I used this for an indoor dog gate I made to our basement. The gate hardware works great at swinging the gate shut behind us. It does squeak a tiny bit, but overall it looks great and works great.

Removed the old hinge and moved the new hinges up just a little. The old screw holes and the new ones did not match. Used the self drilling screws that came with the hinges and the install was simple. New hinge is very smooth and automatically closes the gate. Wife is much happier now and our dogs have less of a chance to get out.

Product looks and works great. Contacted the seller 2 years after purchase due to some yellowing on the covers and they replaced them at no charge. Definitely recommend

There is no way for me to detemine was was on my fence so I took measurments and this is as close as I could find. The only difference with old and knew is that only 2 of 8 holes line up. This was enough to get the hinge started and made it much easier to line up. All I had to do is drill all the holes I needed while the 2 screws that lined up held the hinge in place. Super easy to install and adjust.

I thought they were going to be metal but the plastic is very strong and haven’t had any issues yet. Self close is nice.

Needed these for our gate because of the pool construction. Super easy install and adjusting. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I custom fabricated my own deck gate to keep grandchild & grand-dog contained. Since I'd already decided on D&D Technologies' MagnaLatch, I thought I'd try their self closing hinges. Though heavy duty, I'm not excited about them being plastic. I've seen photos on line where UV rays lighten their color over time. But hey, at least they won't rust! The plastic snap-on screw covers have a glossy finish that doesn't match the hinge. What's up with that?I like the larger diameter self threading screws that were provided. To keep the hinges from wandering about my aluminum posts during installation, I clamped them into place. Using a 1/4" drill bit & the holes in the hinge as my template, I made a very shallow indentation in my post. This provided a recess for a much smaller drill bit, located in the exact center of each hole. The screws went in much easier than the instructions & the hinges never moved!I did not reply to the "Durability" review because they've only been installed for a few days. I'm paying close attention to what the great ball in the sky is gonna do to the finish.All in all, the hinges came excellently packaged, all parts were there & they installed very easily.

I thought I was gonna get a much better quality item. I am fully expecting this to last maybe two years tops on a wooden pool gate.I thought for sure in this had a metal hinge but the entire thing is plastic. I purchased the wooden gate version.
