This past growing season has been a challenge, especially as a novice gardener. My outdoor plants were overwhelmed with aphids; I was very distressed about it. A kind friend recommended ladybugs and although I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing, I ordered these.Well.If you are not ready to use the ladybugs immediately, store them in the bottom of the fridge. Yes, you read that correctly. The bottom of the fridge. Not in the crisper, just on the bottom shelf. They'll be fine.When you are ready to use them, just take them outside at dusk, open the bag, and gently (gently!) set the ladybugs into the plants where you want them to go. They'll go...and then some.For the next several weeks I observed the little ladybugs throughout the garden...and amazing, no aphids. The aphids were gone, and this made me very happy.The ladybugs will move on, once they've finished off the aphids. This is what they do.I am very happy with this purchase and absolutely recommend this to anyone with an aphid issue.

These ladybugs came packaged beautifully, very happy and excited to get to feasting! I was expecting some to have died since we are in AZ but pleasantly surprised almost ALL were live and well! I kept them in the fridge until we were ready to release same day at sunset. We released all three bags at sunset! After we had made sure to water all the plant resorts we intended for our ladybug friends we let em go wild! I really didn't realize how absolutely epic it is to watch 4500 ladybugs all march out of the bag and on their missions up each of the plants! I was able to share this experience with both of our girls and we had a fantastic time learning about ladybugs and seeing them in person. It was an experience I'm thankful we all got to share. We learned how precious they are and let a few onto our hands. One kid absolutely loved it and the other loved watching from afar. She got a bit nervous when some started marching toward her.The metal clip can be snipped with wire cutters but otherwise you can carefully cut a hole in the mesh bag to allow the little ladybugs out of the bag.This seller is INCREDIBLE and thank you for helping us get these aphids under control! I'm also pretty sure our neighbors with gardens will appreciate our gift back to nature.Ps- it was an incredible feeling to set these little creatures free and watch them do their thing! Love love loved everything about this seller, product, and transaction!We will likely go this route again vs using pesticides or other icky things to rid of the aphids. I cannot wait to see the plants tomorrow to see if the aphids are gone! Excited!

I made the mistake of ordering these the first time during the insane heat wave in Houston this summer. None of the little guys survived, but they were left at the front door, for how long, I don't know. So I just ordered some more and they all were just fine when received, and as soon as I cut open the bag, they were all over my arm. So I do recommend that you let them loose outside. I got them about a month ago, and I still see them crawling around some of my plants in the back. They appear to be hard at work, because I have a lot of aphids for them to munch on!

I emailed Clark and Co after my first shipment arrived informing them most of my bugs arrived dead due to the box being too small for the mesh bag that they are shipped in. Resulting in the bag having to be folded in half for it to fit. Causing all the bugs being suffocated in the bottom half of the bag which would sustain life if it wasn’t for the moronic packaging. They emailed me apologizing and sent me another shipment but did the exact same thing. Once again resulting in massive loss due forcing an adequate sized bag in a small box. I feel inhumane ordering from them based on their unintelligent shipping methods. Box needs to be at least 3 times the size to have enough space for the insects to have enough space. Basically you’re just giving this company 40 bucks to kill the wrong bugs for you.

Ladybugs arrive very active, beautiful, and ready for action!! Easy to open and let loose in the garden. All very active and immediately got to work on aphids and other pests in my garden. Love it!!

I’m certain this bag of 50/50 live/dead ladybugs did not contain 1500 bug bodies. My estimate is closer to 500. And like I said, many were dead. Released per instructions in May. It is now August and we have no visible ladybugs.Not a good value for over $40. Thanks for nothing, guys!

Got these guys to help keep my garden healthy...was super excited waiting for them and they did not disappoint!! Arrived a day early in incredible condition, super active and I'd say 95% alive overall. Waited till sunset watered the various locations and started the release. Even this part was fun. Ran outside this morning and was not disappointed!!! Worth the money and the wait especially if you are a plant nerd like I am!

These ladies are just amazing!!! They got put to work on my ladies (plants) right away!!!! Put about half on my 8 plants. Will keep the rest in the fridge for about 3 days, then will set the rest loose!!They are all sticking around so I guess they are doing some good clean up!!AMAZING little ladies I must admit!!Thank You!!!!
