I was a little hesitant, it isn't metal as I'd have hoped and it is a smaller frame... at a larger price. I really debated it and came back and forth to it many times.In the end, it was valentine's day (a nice little gift) and our shelving will be coming in. I knew it was something that'd look nice in our game room on our bookshelves (where no one was going to give it that close of a look anyway) so I took the chance.I absolutely loved it the moment it arrived, however. It has a good weight to it, not at all flimsy or overly breakable. It was packaged very well, an outer and an inner box, styrofoam, and bubble wrapped. I didn't have to worry about the contents whatsoever.The finish is lovely, not at all cheap or "fake looking", doesn't at all resemble one of those slightly tacky mass-produced resin pieces. It does appear to be a small silver frame from where I sit. (4 ft away) I'm glad I took the chance and would absolutely buy it again.The only "con" to speak, it takes a while to ship, plan accordingly if it is a gift. (I think I ordered it a month(?) before Valentine's and it came the week of Feb 14th.

Slightly smaller than I expected, however, this is a gorgeous picture frame.
