Tenkara USA® Amago tenkara Rod 13.5 ft. - Lightweight Telescopic Rod

Just arrived in the mail. The rod they sent me was used, HEAVILY. The plastic coating around the cork handle was missing, the 0-ring to keep moisture out of the end cap is broken in half and the case is scuffed up both inside and out. Of course, I paid full price for an ostensibly new item. Did they think I wouldn't notice? Never again from this vendor.

I purchased item but immediately returned it, the pole was obviously used. The clear wrapping was missing from the cork handle and one end of the rod’s storage tube was missing. (Foot was strategically placed in photo for scale lol)

I have caught over 60 fish on this rod. Sizes from 4-19 inch. Rainbows, browns , Brooks, grayling in streams, rivers, and lakes. This rod is amazing. If you want a tenkara rod for targeting bigger fish and every thing in-between than don't hesitate. From wet fly's to drys it slays trout and will play the fish with out loosing them. Its length gets your fly out there and helps play the fly and the fish.The action is a bit faster than the typical softer slower action rods ,and has a back bone. Absolutely love this rod!!! My only suggestion is I wish it had a swivel Lillian like the tenkara rod CO rods.

Great rod. I have the Iwana 11' and 12' as well, the Amago has more backbone as expected and handles trout up to 18 or so inches. I use it on creeks where I need a bit more reach or targeting bass or pan size trout. Tenkara USA build great products and has exceptional customer service.
