Surprisingly Good Given the Price Tag
Have had a Fitbit Flex 2 for a while, and bought this one because the Fitbit at twice the price does not monitor heart rate. The manual is a bit on the short side (How long does it take to charge? How do I know that the charge is complete?), but otherwise I am thoroughly impressed. Battery capacity is about the same as the Fitbit, lasts about 2 ― 3 days on one charge, but it actually looks better, and I prefer the way the dongle itself just fits into a normal USB port for charging ― no more need to carry yet another charging cable with me when I travel. The heart rate readings are reliable when at rest. Unfortunately, this fitness tracker does not know to stop taking heart rate readings when not at rest, and so sometimes you end up with erroneous readings. Does not bother me as I was particularly interested in my heart rate while asleep, but if you want to monitor your heart rate while working out then this one is probably not for you.

Looks lovely and seems impressive but not the best battery life.
We already own the more basic model without the heart rate function from this supplier which is excellent.I would guess that having the heart rate function is one of the major issues we found with this watch. Firstly the heart rate measurements isn't that accurate, assuming that my wife has a pulse - and she does seem alive, if not warm to the touch.Secondly I reckon that the heart rate measurement causes battery drain. It is supposed to last for 5 to 7 days in battery life. My wife's would not last two full days. She made minimal use of it, apart from synching to her android phone once a day. Asking a question on amazon I noted that I got responses stating the same regarding the battery life.you do get good communications from the seller. We decided to return the item and get a refund.I have after consideration amended my overall rating of the watch for the following reasons....Price. It is damn good value for money.Maybe the issue of battery drain was isolated with that particular tracker and not then all.My wife only used limited functions of the tracker and yet it offers much more.So whilst the example was not working as my wife would expect I am cautiously suggesting that try one and see how it works for you.One thing that you will not be disappointed with is the excellent contact and communications from the supplier.

Great value for money
Bought it for my wife. Happy with the purchase. Got all the functions of the 5 times expensive fitbit. To charge the device you need to remove one strap. I find that annoying. Some times the removed strap gets misplaced. The charge lasts morethan 24 hours. The strap made allergic reaction to my wife. Started an itchy rash around the wrist, then I tried it for a week and I got the same reaction. I suspected cheap materials used in production of the strap. Or it was just us. Still use it daily strapped a bit lose to the wrist so I don't get the itchy rash. It is definitely splash proof. I am not sure about water proof ability. It's cheap and does the job, so I am not worried of dammaging it or losing it.

Has a mind of its own
Very inconsistent to use. When I want to toggle to a specific screen half the time nothing happens. And when I'm not touching it it randomly self-activates (especially if I wiggle my wrist) and buzzes at me. Thought the find your phone feature would be great but that's set my phone alarm off twice in 2 days (both times I wasn't touching the watch at all). Not sure of the accuracy of the heart rate monitor, apparently I had a rate of 135 whilst driving (my commute to work really isn't that stressful) but only 102 at trampolining class. Also the bracelet fastening isn't that great so it came off in the night and therefore didn't accurately monitor my sleep patternAlso it doesn't link with my running app, or with weight Watchers.I guess you get what you pay for and this just isn't the tracker for me

Not as expected
After reading reviews that this was similar to an entry level Fitbit at a third of the price, I decided to purchase this as a gift. It looked stylish and the pink band was a nice colour, however it proved very fiddly to use. First, the strap was very difficult to secure by myself, and I had to awkwardly lie my wrist on a table to stretch the strap over - this doesn't make it very easy to take on and off when showering/washing up etc. Second, the steps are not counted live and it takes a while for it to update. Third, as stated in the instructions, it takes a long time to charge. The instructions say up to 4 hours, however I left it on for much longer because only a third of the bar was charged by the recommended time (I was using the correct plug).I returned the item and paid more for a Fitbit which is more fit for purpose. I have given 3 stars as the company offered very good service and accepted my refund promptly. If you are not prepared to spend the money and want to have an overview of your activity at the end of each day, then it is worth saving the pounds. However, if you want a fitness tracker to provide you with regular live updates, consider a more expensive fitness tracker that offers more gadgets.

Waste of money. Very disappointing.
Very disappointed with this. It only records steps if you do over about 30 in one go. If you do, say 25, it wipes them off and doesn't count them. In a very short space of time it didn't count about 200 steps. Makes it a bit pointless as a step counter! Before buying this one, I'd read this was a problem on a few other trackers - it seems to be a design feature on some, bizarrely. So I read all the comments for this one to see if anyone else had the same issue but didn't appear so, so I bought it. It doesn't state this anywhere in the description, so it's misleading. The heart rate monitor was also completely random. It said any thing between 62 bpm and 89 bpm without me even moving. I know it's cheap but it doesn't live up to its description and isn't fit for purpose. Amazon have agreed to a refund. UPDATE: Since leaving my review the seller has contacted me to offer a bluetooth headset. Whilst I acknowledge the polite customer service and kind gesture, it doesn't change my opinion of the tracker.
