Money Well Spent
Great little guide. Fits perfectly in a small backpack pocket or cargo pocket on your pants. The information is straight forward and clearly presented. We just got back from Glacier and manged seven of the hikes in the book in 2 days, with an 8 and 11 year old in tow. My only word of caution is to remember that 'easy' is a relative term. All of the hikes we did had aspects that were at least strenuous, if not difficult. That being said, by taking your time and slowing your pace all of the hikes we did were doable by the vast majority of people.

Great book to bring
This guide was really useful to have on our trip. We would pick one longer, more popular hike to do in the morning and then refer to this guide to find a shorter hike in that particular area of the park afterwards. Really well organized and great descriptions.

Traveling with me
Some of the so called day hikes are not actually day hikes in my beginner/intermediate experience. However, I will still do a 2 to 3 hour trek on a 6 hour hike. Love how this is broken down. It will be in the suitcase for my trip.

A good job with something tough to write
This guide proved to be a good exampl of its genre. It had the right blend of detail and succinctness, to my way of thinking. I felt pretty well prepared for the low-challenge hikes it sought to characterize. Mr. Molvar, the author, has a pretty good command of the King's English. I'd be inclined to buy other guides he's published.

Very helpful, but trail distances can be confusing
My only complaint is that the distance of the various trails was based on the trailhead. Wait, this is not a problem unless access to the trailhead is via another trail. You need to factor in the distance to get to the trailhead, which can add considerably to the total distance of the hike. Otherwise, I liked the guide.

Not incredibly helpful.
Bought this for my first trip to Glacier. I am not an extreme hiker, and just wanted to get an idea of what trails would be a good scenic day hike. It was helpful in identifying the trails, but sometimes was unclear about where the trailhead was, and there were a few hikes we took where, even with the book, we got lost and somehow connected to another trail! Perhaps for a more serious hiker this would be valuable, but I could have probably done just as well with a map and some online research.

Overpriced, small, cheaply made guide
I have purchased a number of Falcon Guides in the past, and this one is probably the least detailed of all those I have purchased. It is very small which will make it easier to take with us on vacation, but I can't help but feel like it is overpriced due to its size and that it is very cheaply made. That being said, it does seem to have decent maps and explanations which is why I give it three stars.
