Exceptional knife
We have been using this knife daily for about 3 months, mostly to prep fruits and vegetables as we are not big meat eaters. This gorgeous knife has exceeded all our expectations. It has a great weight the handle is very comfortable. The edge is incredibly sharp and far surpasses our old vintage Cutco and newer Made In blades. We haven't sharpened it yet and it still cuts like it did on day one. It makes prep work a breeze and is a true pleasure to use. I prefer the slightly curved edge since I am more accustomed to a classic chef's knife. The transition for me was easy. All in all we are blown away and want to purchase other knives from this manufacturer.

Very sharp
Firstly, the item arrived a lot earlier than originally indicated, which is great bonus. The packaging was more than sufficient to maintain its care during the transit period. It comes in a very presentable box. Like what others have mentioned, this knife is very sharp out of the box. It was used in cutting a mango, happened to hit the pit on the way down and with just a slight increase in force, the blade went through the side of the pit like butter. It’s just that sharp. The overall weight is a slightly less that the other Seki-made knives but this knife feels very comfortable in the hand. The handle itself is also comfortable in either the left or right hand since it is symmetrical laterally (it’s oval shaped instead of a ‘D’ shape which are meant for one hand and not the other). The knife is very well made and should work well for a very time.

This is your favorite knife. You just don't know it yet.
I am a HUGE knife guy and this one is my favorite. I bought this when it was on sale, but I can tell you that it's well worth the full price. Razor sharp, durable as hell, and the weight is balanced very well. You will thank me.

Best knife ever!
I received this knife as a gift over a year ago. I'm in love with it! Perfect for vegetable prep: slices, dices and chops like a dream. Nice heft and feels balanced and good in hand. Couple of points to remember: use a wooden cutting board only, and don't test it's sharpness, even gently, on a finger tip cause it WILL slice it before you know it (don't we sometimes do the dumbest things?)

Beautiful knife
Razor sharp out of the box. I’m not an expert so I can’t write about technicalities but I can say that it is gorgeous and sharp. Feels good in my hand ( have small hands) I think I need time to see how the knife holds up. Nevertheless, it feels like quality it looks like quality. Honestly, I’m in love.

Becoming my go to knife
A beautifully crafted knife with great balance. Razor sharp out of the box with an almost supernatural ability to hold an edge. Ideal for vegetables and herbs but also works like a dream with meat (Avoid bones because the steel is extremely hard and might be damaged). I have a lot of high end knives, but I’m drawn to this one again and again.

Excellent nakiri
I use this knife regularly when prepping vegetables for maki rolls. It's incredibly sharp and makes the work super easy. From making paper thin slices of daikon, to coring and slicing avocado, and other vegetables. It sits in the hand quite comfortably, and I've even used it to cut the maki, and it performs just as well as my yanagi. Its retains its edge very well, and is just as sharp as the day i bought it. Highly recommend this knife.
