Nice little gadget
I recently purchased this TENS machine to help with my back pain, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. The device is compact and fits easily in my hand. It offers a wide range of functions and is surprisingly powerful for its size. However, there are a few drawbacks. The adhesive on the pads doesn't last very long, and the instructions are not very clear, making it a bit of a trial-and-error process to figure out the best settings. Additionally, the intensity levels can be quite strong, so it's important to start low and gradually increase the strength. Despite these issues, I find the TENS machine to be a good value for the price. It's especially useful for short-term pain relief and is more cost-effective than battery-operated devices since it's rechargeable. If you're looking for a long-term solution, you might want to invest in a more professional, branded device, but for temporary relief, this machine does the job well!!

Decent little unit.
Bought this to replace the Boots one we have, not because it was broken but because replacement pads are currently unavailable and aftermarket ones have been rubbish. This was reasonably priced and spare pads were (at the time of posting) available. The unit is very light, came charged and ready to use. It’s currently had 4 hours worth of use and the battery level hasn’t dropped. A maximum of 6 pads can be used at any one time. One wire has two pads, the other 4. We’ve only run it on two so I’m guessing the battery will reduce with more pads. The pads are showing signs of losing their adhesiveness but this is expected through use. Power wise is very good and has plenty of range to suit pain thresholds. A nice little pouch makes storage neat and tidy. The instructions are where this is let down. There may as well not be any. Our Boots machine tells you where to place the pads and what setting is suggested. This one for us was more trial and error going through the massage options to see which one suited - it was helpful to use the Boots instructions for pad placement. That said, once you get your head around the icons it is very easy to navigate for time, mode, strength etc. Even though this was intended as a stop gap until I could get genuine Boots pads, this one is doing a good job. Being rechargeable and not battery operated, means it’ll be more cost effective. All in all it was a good price and performs just as well as my other. It’s just those instructions that I’m disappointed with.

Compact and ready to use, provide some relief
Relatively easy to use. Provides some relief from my lower back pain (L5/S1 and L4/L5 disc bulge). Find the levels to step up too quickly i.e level 1-2 is all I tend to use, anything over 3-4 is downright uncomfortable - 5 and above you are either a massachist and are often seen crouching on the floor in a gimp suit saying "Yes Mistress" or speak with a thick Eastern European accent and work for the "Ministry of Information Extraction". The gel pads are good don't know how long they will last before they lose adhesive qualities (helps to ensure no creams or lotions on your skin). The instructions are okay - not sure what the user is expected to do with "do not use over sensitive parts of the brain" - last time I checked all parts of the brain are pretty important. I would avoid using on neck, directly over chest and back at same time (near the heart) and the head (useful info on the NHS site for TENS). One thing I don't like is that on turning on the unit it tends to give a slightly uncomfortable jolt - even when the strength level is on 1. I have used it for a couple of hours and the charging level has not gone down so it will prbly give several hours of use before it needs a charge. The unit is very compact and could be worn discreetly - I have been using whilst standing and working.

Quality, battery, efficiency.
I’ve been struggling with chronic pain for years, and I can honestly say that the TENS machine has been a game-changer for me. From the first use, I noticed a significant reduction in pain and tension in my muscles and nerves. It’s incredibly easy to use, with simple controls and adjustable settings to cater to your specific needs. The electrodes are comfortable, and I appreciate how versatile the device is for targeting different areas of pain. What sets this TENS machine apart is its ability to provide effective, drug-free pain relief. It stimulates nerve fibers to block pain signals, which has helped me manage discomfort throughout the day, whether it’s from old injuries or stress-related tension. I also love that I can use it while doing other activities, making it convenient for busy schedules.

So small and compact!
This is a great bit of kit. I’ve had one before many years ago but it was so big I didn’t tend to use. This one is tiny! I can take it to the office and use it without anyone knowing! It’s really helped with my lower back pain. The pads are easy to use and it’s so quick to get going. I have found the battery to be fine. I just make sure I charge fully before a day in the office. This is so compact I will be able to take on trips away without taking up valuable luggage room.

Is it medically safe to use?
Lack of advice/ instructions in foreign language No medical recommendation Could it do more than good to one's body I'm unable to read the instructions, they're mostly written in Chinese. I have some concern that without a full understanding of how to use the device I could do more harm to my body than good. Is the end user recommended to be trained or have a medical background?!!? Whilst this machine takes the pain away whilst being used (when the sticky pads don't falloff) I do not feel the pain but once removed the pain is back. Advice would be good. Instructions would also be appreciated and of course medical advice, do's or dont's etc.

Very good
Very good quality product, really good value for money. Tiny device, really long battery life, have a lot of settings and few levels of intensity in each of them. Gives a nudge choice of ways to use. Very easy to use, easy to carry around, does the job really well. Recommend!
