Set Of 4 Pairs Mini Surgical Stainless Steel April RD2.0mm Bezel Setting Stud Earrings

I bought these because I was looking for earrings that 1) could serve as "placeholders" for the my second and third piercings (aka: I did not want to bother changing them out frequently), 2) had extra sturdy backings that would not get lost, and 3) would not irritate my sensitive ears after extended wear. Basically, I was looking for piercing studs and these earrings fit the bill.Often, I find that earrings will be made with sterling or steel posts, but the backing will be made from some other material or merely plated. These seem to be made completely of stainless steel as I have not had any problems with these earrings since I got them. I'd been having trouble losing the backings to earrings these last few years...these backings are super hard to get off so I have not lost a pair yet! (If I do lose one though, with four sets, I have extras to spare) Folks should note that as piercing studs, the posts are slightly thicker than regular earrings. Other than slight discomfort at the very beginning, I had no problem with this.Finally, these earrings are unobtrusive. They are not too big or small and do not physically or aesthetically interfere with the flashier, bigger earrings I tend to wear in my first piercings. Great buy!Edit: right after I posted this review I noticed one of my cartilage earrings had gone missing. Caflon to the rescue!

These earrings are beautiful. They have a shiny smooth finish and their "crystal" sparkles. No issues there.It is my own fault for not knowing what mm post to buy. I saw that people used these for piercing and assumed their posts would be the same mm as my current posts that my ears were pierced with years ago. Not at all LOL! These have a very thick post, so if you are used to a standard thin post, you will have to force these puppies through your piercing. I recommend ice or a strong shot beforehand.After a few days my earlobe felt normal again. The back fits on tight so I am not worried about them falling out, which is what I was looking for. I also have super sentitive ears and these do not irritate my ears at all. They came individually wrapped as advertised.

Great earrings at a super price. I stocked up so don't have to go to the mall when I lose an earring or back. I wear stud earrings like this daily because I don't want to fuss with earrings.For those complaining or commenting on the posts being large or the backs difficult to put on/take off it's because these are piercing studs. They come in sterilized packages and are larger posts to accommodate new piercings.

Too Small & end of stem is tough to get the nut (backer) on but especially off. I originally purchased for a child but thankfully tried them myself b/c hubs actually had to yank it off my ear.

These are pretty little earrings. Just what I was looking for. The only problem is, they don't fit through my older piercings that have already healed! The posts are that thick. They fit in my newer 8wk old piercings though.

Good for my five year old, stays in for majority of time, lost one back in about six months

I lost my favorite earrings a while ago and ever since I have been really bad in keeping earrings in. My ears seem to close up very quickly so it made putting regular earrings in very difficult and painful. I wanted earrings that were surgical stainless steel to reduce irritation and had the sharp end so that it would be easier to get them in my ears. I have double piercings so I also wanted something smaller so they could be next to each other and not look cluttered. These earrings fit all my needs. They are small enough that they don't overwhelm my ear and they were easy to get in, even though I hadn't put earrings in for a month or two. Each set of earrings come in their own sterile package so I can keep the two pairs I am not currently wearing sealed until I need them.

I love these! They would work great for starting the stretching process; however, stretching is not my cup of tea. I use these earrings for newer piercings after they have healed for the most part. I put them in just to make the holes bigger, and they are the perfect size for what I need. I have had no problem with my piercings reacting negatively with the earrings.
