Crazy BonezSkeleton - Rat Bonez

Wow, I wasn't expecting anything close to this good. I quickly ordered several of the Crazy Bonez skeletons at the same time and didn't read any of the descriptions, so the movable parts were a pleasant surprise. I was expecting this to look obviously fake and cheap, but it's quite realistic, so much so that (completely alone, no one else around) I let out an admiring "Oooooooooooo!" when I opened the package. I've had pet rats for many years and the size is true-to-life. If you put this on a shelf or in your yard, people are going to need to get really close and touch it to see if it's real. Stick it somewhere unexpected, like on a kitchen counter or on your bathroom floor, and it will make people jump for sure. It's things like this that kind of make up for all the times I've ordered products that turned out to be disappointing crap. Now I'm super excited for the others to arrive!

They are pretty good looking and a decent value for money. The only problem I had was one of their tails had a piece of wire sticking out but you definitely couldn't see it unless you were up close. I had them on my mantel.

I never get tired writing praise for Crazy Bonez skeletons.This year, I've upped my game with a two-sided driveway display (the Dead Thing Driveway). An animal control skeleton chases dog and cat skeletons on one side while a Pied Piper skeleton plays a tune to attract skeleton rats (and birds) on the other.This little guy helps fill in the gap you see between the encroaching rats and the rapt birds (and other creatures). I like this rat alot. He has the classic Crazy Bonez articulation, impressive on an item so small (he's really tiny...his tail is as long as his entire body) and his jaw does open a tiny bit (it would look dopey if it hung all the way open).Really, you just can't go wrong with Crazy Bonez products and, as my photos show, you can never have too many skeletons!

I really liked this little rat skeleton for Halloween. Had to send back because one foot was missing. We looked for the missing piece in the box to repair it ourselves because it was so cute. However, due to the packaging, it had apparently fallen out of the plastic sleeve, which was unsecured, and then out of the box, which had loose sides. For bigger items this wouldn’t have been an issue. One little piece of tape on the sleeve would have saved it. I’m giving only 4 stars due to packaging.I will note that I did receive a prompt refund, which was very much appreciated.

I love this little guy. He seems to be very well made with no rough edges, not like your average Halloween decor, which tends to be very crudely made. His feet, head and jaw are articulated and it's fun to change him up for different scenarios. I plan to put him on the the shoulder of a lifesize realistic scarecrow sitting on my front porch. Oh also his tail can be rotated a bit. No idea how he will hold up - will update if he doesn't hold up well. Just looking at him, I think he'll last many halloweens with gentle handling. He really not a sturdy kids' toy for heavy play, but for decor he's awesome. i wish he had lite-up red eyes.

My kid loves skeleton mice...When one breaks we buy a new one because he takes it everywhere. This is the best one do far! The tail has wire in it so he can bend it to whatever shape he wants. Also all the movable joints and pieces seem sturdier than any of the others we’ve gotten before

This is just as advertised. It has joined my skull collection (hard to find a complete rat) and with his cheeky grin and cute ears is a perfect addition.
