I love that it is very portable and has a good water pressure. I was looking for something to use on my bedridden mother to make shampooing her hair easier. This model only has the regular shower head and no way to control the flow. I was worried that I might spray water on the bed when trying to use the existing shower head to rinse the back of her hair. I ended up buying a standard kitchen sink sprayer with hose and it works wonderful. The sprayer is easy to use in the inflatable shampoo bowl and allows me to quickly stop the water. You can turn the water on and off with the button on the battery, but with the sprayer it is instant. The water pressure is the same with the sprayer, but since the sprayer is smaller I don't have to worry about getting water everywhere. For the first time since she has been home (over 16 months) I feel like her hair is really clean with all the shampoo rinsed out. Made the shampoo job so much easier! Would have been nice to have a sprayer with it, but it was an easy solution. I had to cut off the connector that came on the sink sprayer which was the part that attach to your sink, but it was easy. I do wish that this came with an extra battery pack, but I see you can buy a battery on Amazon if the pack wears out. I would recommend this to anyone. I am really glad I ordered it!

I have a campervan and bought this shower for longer treks. I have a 2-3 gallon bucket, filled it from a creek, heated half of it up on the stove to boiling then mixed it all together. Took a great shower in the woods in the sun and it was sooo nice. The little on off button on the battery pack allows you to turn it off and on easily to save on water so it was a "get wet, no water lather, turn on water and rinse" shower but the pressure is great! also stores right in my little bucket. Would highly recommend for its size, ease of use and pressure. Note the part that goes in the water is kind of large (maybe the size of a tennis ball), so it will not fit in a Gerry can or anything with a small mouth opening. Best with a bucket.

I haven't tested this camping yet, but have tested it at home. I like the two-battery option. The battery charged very quickly and has been running for three showers now. The pressure is good, not full-on household showerhead pressure, but still good. My hair is short but thick, it rinses quickly and thoroughly. The only thing I would say is a slight negative is the hose is like surgical tubing. It is very pliable and lightweight. It will kink easily depending on how you are holding the showerhead. That will cut off the water flow and cause the pump to "rev up". I am using this with a storage tub and instead of hanging the battery from the hose, it sits nicely in the molded handle of the tub. I would recommend this product, I am very happy with it.

Only gave 1 star for warmth since there isn’t any heating mechanism with this shower. However, it does work rather well for my needs. Easy to charge and use. Can be a little awkward to use with the hose and wire connecting to pump, but nothing that can’t be managed (I didn’t use hook provided since it looked flimsy but hung hose on existing hook in shower. It fell several times due to being slippery from the water). I used as a temporary shower when water heater went on the fritz but remember there is NOT a heating element with this, it’s only a water pump with a shower head/hose. I heated the water with an immersion heater first (don’t leave it water but take out once properly heated) which looks like a wand and it worked out fine. The water pressure isn’t super strong but sufficient for shower. To save on heated water and battery life, I turned off shower when soaping up and back on to rinse. It worked fine and battery held charge for about 20L of water without a problem. This did not include washing hair. That was done separately with about another 20L water but I have fairly long hair and use conditioner. I would recommend this item for it’s price for shower emergencies or camping. Have not tried on my dogs yet, but plan too.

(EDIT: My review is still a five-star, but I wanted to add a hint for potential buyers. There is a rubber sealing ring for the shower head where you connect it to the main water hose. To avoid any drip leaks there, you should also wrap some plumber's tape (that white tape on the little rolls) around the threads of the shower head. Wrap the tape in the same direction as the threads go. In other words, in the same direction you would be screwing on the shower head to the hose connector. That way, it will NEVER drip leak there.) Purchased for a three-day 'UFO Skywatch Party' up near Mt. Rainier, Washington State. (We also bought a drop-in water heater we ran from a generator. You drop it into a five gallon bucket of water.) Then...you drop this shower pump unit into the bucket when the water is ready. No complaints here, although to take a good solid CIVILIAN shower costs a few bucks as you can see from the price. I was hesitant it would be a waste of money. Now I don't know how I went camping with just one of those plastic bag showers. Compared to them, this is like showering at the Ritz Hotel but you are out in the middle of nowhere. Having a second battery means you can always be ready for the next shower while one of them is charging. As usual, you need three magnifying glasses to read the instructions, but the unit works very well. It does take quite a few minutes to empty out a five gallon bucket. Try not to let the water drop below the level of the pump though. You can burn out the electric motor pretty fast doing that. They don't like to be run without water.

Very easy to use and take with you... I put this in my bathroom and use it to shower using 3 gallons of water.6 gallons washing my long hair.. Long showers lower water pressure but strong. i also turned off my hot water heater and heat water in a coffee pot as I need it ....got rid of my gas bills being high for hot water heater .... HiAghly recommend UPDATE this is a great thing to have on hand for emergency or anything else!

We have a 4 seasons off grid cabin that we love to spend time at in the winter. The one drawback was not being able to shower like we can In the e summer but this nifty device solved that problem. We had purchased a similar less expensive one but didn’t like that the on off switch was on the pump itself. This pump’s separate power switch makes it much easier to turn on and off. We found the tubing too short to reach up and over into our shower stall so we purchased 10’ of 3/8” silicon tubing intended for use in home brewing and winemaking and solved that issue. We heat water in a five gallon pail to shower temperature with an inexpensive portable electric immersion water heater and by wetting down, shutting the pump off and shampooing/soaping up, then rinsing, both of us can have a shower. Love how the unit operates and it came with 2 batteries and multiple charging options. The only thing that would have made it better was a longer cord on the battery unit on off switch but other than that it is perfect!

Use for outdoor shower at cottage. Great flow. Durable.Good battery life. Extra battery a plus! Met all my expectations and more.
