The mat tolerates smt hot air using SN63 solder paste. Nice suprise. The "indents" make for nice parts and tools storage between assembly operations.

Does everything it says it will do and it's most accurate I'm really glad I bought it, I replace LEDs on my Chevy Colorado that are so tiny there's no way else I could do it without this solder station

I've used it several time and had a nice feel to it. Also, there's handy little trays to separate screws, electronic part and other small items.Very pleased.

This gets dirty very quickly and end up washing it with soap and water. Great little mat to keep small components and screws separate and set up to help remember where they went on what you are working on. The magnets (formed into mat) are very weak but do work. I do recommend. I did notice that there is another mat that has covers on the upper left side that this one does not have. Would probably recommend that one and may get that one too.

I use it for drone building, soldering, screw holding and more. Its a good size, but it depends what you will be doing with it that will determine if the size is dood or not. I build 7” drones mostly and the drones overlap the flat working area on the matt. So if you don't want that then buy a matt that does not have anything but a plane area to work on. This one has screw holders and stuff

This mat seems to have no shortcomings. This intense blue color can be fatiguing after a few hours although it produces a reasonable contrast with most parts. Certain parts like small external screws are colored black in which case the blue would actually work better than grey, or black. The item is top quality and comes professionally packaged in aluminized Mylar. The material is thick and perfectly molded, with fine detail and a consistent surface with no waves or thickness variations. The recessed aluminum disc is a nice touch which will come in handy when a stiff heat conductive work surface is appropriate.
