Another Death on Demand treat!
For those of you who are fans already, you will thoroughly enjoy this one. Annie and Max do their best to see that justice is done. For those of you who are not yet followers of this series, you are missing one of the best series around. Annie and Max combine instinct and logic to see what others miss. I always look forward to how they bring together what needs to be done but is frequently overlooked. Sit back and enjoy.

Mystery book club
It was a decent read.A bit too much conversations. The plot was loose. Hard to follow as for any guessing as to who even did the murders. But like Anne's bookstore and her cat Agatha. Maybe a bit more of that in the books. Lots of authors she mentions. All classics mysteries.

Too Many characters?
Many different characters described in the beginning pages. Should have been introduced as the story goes on. I have read all the Death on Demand books, enjoyed them, but this one took about 130 pages to really get rolling. When you have to go back and forth to the beginning pages to refresh your mind about the characters, it seems like a waste of time and is rather frustrating.

Good books for a rainy afternoon
The books are well written. Have too many characters with similar names. I do wonder how many coffee mugs Annie has in her book store. Every time she serves coffee, she uses mugs with completely different quotes . 😁

pack this Book
If like me you are addicted to Death on Demand books take this latest offering by Carolyn Hart with you. It has all the elements of a great read. Fabulous characters, numerous deaths a Mayor you love to hate but this time stays away from The Darlings and of ores The Darlings. Max and Annie are at it again with their band of merry helpers. Good thing cause the good guys are about to get arrested and the bad guys keep killing.

A Great Addition to the Series
I've read all of Carolyn Hart's Death n Demand series, and this latest addition was a good one. There was a rough patch a few books back that made me wonder of Hart had lost her touch, or was distracted, but she's definitely back now.If you like cozies, you'll like this series. A good plot, sufficient real clues and red herrings to keep experienced mystery solvers engaged, and well-developed characters. Clean and clever.

Who lied first?
Another great story by Carolyn Hart. As usual the clues and character flaws were there, you just had to look really hard. I love the atmosphere of the island, Death on Demand and all the characters I have come to know and like. I have read all of this series and can't wait for more, they are familiar and yet still challenging. I recommend to anyone who likes a comfortable, quick reading cozy mystery. Keep them coming.
