Reliable little scanner
Just be aware that the scanner has a very limited range. It picks up well though and certainly works for an entry level planespotter. I bought a bigger scanner but it doesn't scan as thoroughly as this little machine.

Rapid delivery and it’s small and neat but even though we live on the flight path this device was not picking anything up. You only get what you pay for and this was just not capable of doing what we wanted it too. So technically it’s no good.If you buy you’ll be disappointed.

Works well, supplied headphones are a weakness
Good little radio receiver, reasonably easy to set up (will need to read the instructions) and particularly good is the little mechanical lock switch on the base. With this clicked to lock the settings can't be changed however much the unit is jostled around in a pocket. Just click the switch to adjust anything.Sadly it was let down by the supplied headphones. The foam covers just ripped when trying to put them on and for me least they just fell out of my ears. Salvation came from a set of wired earphones originally supplied with an old iPhone which worked perfectly.

Very bad. Just doesn’t work as it should.
Absolutely horrendous. Loses its memory after every band scan. Interference is terrible, rendering it unusable. I live under a busy flight path and only picked up a couple of aircraft which were right above while transmitting. Audio is weak to poor. Squelch does not work even with the strongest of signals. For this price you’re MUCH better off with a second hand Uniden. I had read mixed reviews about this and decided to try it myself. The bad reviews were right, this is a bad half hearted attempt at designing a cheap radio to pick up aircraft. However, FM broadcast and AM seem to work okay. If you’re buying this to listen to aircraft, please don’t. It was worse than expected.

Nice little radio
I found the instructions a bit confusing but one I got the hang of it it's fine. AM/FM work good. AIRBAND works fine if you're close to the airport but not much good if you're hoping to pick up overflying traffic.
