Gojo 962504 Hand Sanitizer, Pump Bottle, Kills 99.99 Germs, 2L

This is a big giant 2 liter bottle of Purell. It has a nice grip handle on the backside. The pump operates two ways. Without the little "C" collar, the pump dispenses a lot of the product - enough to refill those smaller 12 and 8 oz purell pumps you have around the house (took about 20 pumps to refill a 12oz bottle). When you snap the "C" collar into place, the pump only dispenses the standard amount for one person use. It is easy to transition between the two uses. Also, the pump can be locked down to prevent use by pushing it all the way down and twisting.One comment - the bottle is marked "not for retail sale" (which can be seen in the photo just below the "Economy Size" bubble.) Doesn't that mean that it is a sample or packaged as part of another product - or sold as part of a larger batch? It might have incomplete labeling. I don't think the manufacturer intended for this to be sold through Amazon in this manner.

My hubby is a cop, and our friends are nurses, fire and police officers. Exposure to germs is very high, so we have Purell in our kitchen, mud room, bathrooms and entry way. We do not have the time to be ill, and use Purell to kill the germs on our hands.This hand sanitizer does not dry out our hands, and the pump works great too! I have two of these - one stays in our high traffic areas at home, the other one is used for refilling the bottles around our home, and in our car.Life is too short to catch germs that make you sick! A little preventive action goes a long way!I hope that you have found my images and opinion to be helpful with your decision process to purchase this item. Great product. There are several hand sanitizers on the market, but we only use Purell. I worked for a hospital chain of 13 hospitals in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi area before retiring. Our hospital system conducted a test of several hand sanitizers on the market and found Purell to out-perform all other sanitizers they tested in killing germs, yet not adversely affecting the skin with repeated daily use by the hospital staff. As a result, the hospital system standardized on Purell. There are sanitizers on the market that are cheaper, but in this case, I think you get what you pay for.

There's not a lot to know about this product - it is a very large bottle of America's favorite hand sanitizer. It does exactly what it promises to do.I can't help noticing, though, that for the 67.6 oz you get here for $28.90, you get 96 oz for $27.50 if you buy  Purell Pump Bottle, Original, 8 Ounce (Pack of 12) . Those are the prices at the time of this writing; they may change by the time you read this.I think I would still buy this again because there's so much less packaging, but that's me putting my conservation "ethics" ahead of saving money. But if you just wanted to get as much Purell per dollar as possible, there are cheaper options than this.

The product is great. And I'll definitely buy again. There was only one small issue that kept this from being a 5-star review. The top of the pump where you put your hand to push down was broken in shipment. It is still usable and we only use the bottle to refill smaller bottles so it's not a huge deal for us, but that's what kept it at only a 4-star review. We'll see how the next bottle arrives.

This is what I use as it doesn't have the strong chemical smell some of these sanitizers have. It's unfortunate that 2 tries to buy this item and ship it have met with issues. The top has broken off once and the fluid leaked all over the shipment. One vendor also shipped a non name brand instead of the actual Purell. The stuff works great though and doesn't leave that much of an after smell like some others do.

This product is great. But since it is a refillable bottle, I expected at least decent packaging. When I opened the box, it had only a plastic air bubble to protect it and a bag covering the bottle. The pump was BROKEN and leaked all on the inside of the bag. I had to wipe the bottle all over the bottle to get it dry. When I say broken...the pump and spring were separated from the long piuece that feeds into the sanitizer and could not be put back together.

I keep a couple of bottles of this in places where I may want to clean my hands of something else, spoon, knife, etc. I feel it helps me keep some germs at bay. At least that is my hope. I also fill a bottle to carry in the car for use when I eat at a drive through. After driving, handling the money and who knows else I can eat with more or less clean hands.Note the product I uses does not contain any odor contamination. That would make it unacceptable.
