Great frame but look for cheaper ones with free S&H/Prime
We own this frame and love it, but have two complaints:1) You can search for wooden slat bed frames on Amazon and find them cheaper with Prime. For example, compare to this, which has the EXACT SAME construction with one less leg in the center. Does that leg really translate into 600 pounds of support difference? If it does then I guess you could just put 10 pieces of 2x4 and make it 6,000 pounds.http://www.amazon.com/Handy-Living-Wood-Slat-Frame/dp/B002KQ5KQ62) The "adjustable" slats are both worthless and a P-I-T-A, it should have just come with regular slats. The frame did come with extra slats and connectors in case you have a breakage, I always like to give credit to manufacturers who do this.Assembles easily. I always recommend a 3rd party Allen wrench, something with some grip, but not strictly necessary. Also you can put it together just fine without a rubber mallet. I did use one at the VERY end just to make sure every thing was secure (after moving it from the living room I was worried they might have come loose), but I don't think it had any effect whatsoever, and certainly no more effect than simply laying on the mattress would have had.On day #2 I stood on the frame to change a light in the ceiling fan. Of course this made me nervous, but it was no problem, the mattress displaces your weight. Also you can try to stand in the middle or edge of the bed so as not to risk slats.

Doesn't hold up well over time
Was great for the first year or even a little longer. Now there is constant squeaking of you move at all in the bed. We have tightened the nuts and bolts multiple times and nothing helps. Also the middle support legs have started to bend.

Sturdy Raised Platform
Sturdy platform for your mattress. Goes together fairly easily without help. Silent, no squeaks or wobbles after more than a year topped by a heavy mattress without any adjustments or tightening of bolts. Can find at significantly lower price if you shop around especially on added attachments like head and footboard connectors.

it was very easy to assemble and it was fairly priced
Ive had the bed frame for a few months, it was very easy to assemble and it was fairly priced. But after a few month and a few bedroom shenanigans later it squeeks and the legs tend to bend. I find myself having to restraighten the legs every few days. Also depending on your type of mattres the top doesnt hold a mattress to well. If you want an ok bedframe that you might need to do some tweeking to then this is the bed for you.
