How coarse/fine is this? Are they flakes?

Very fine, and all totally clumped together so nothing comes out until you take a knife to the block of salt 😬

Do i neee a grinder for this ?

No you don’t it comes in a shaker and is quite fine.

Why is the plastic container marked ''technostampi.it'' ? Why is the label amateurly stuck with air pockets all over? Why is the salt bitter?

Yes. This product is not iodized. It contains an anti-caking agent, magnesium oxide and magnesium carbonate in addition to sea salt. We used it for bread making and it is excellent.
