1 YEAR UPDATE Quality and Lightweight are not Synonymous!
It's heavy, It's big, it's what you need in your life! Plus my girlfriend loves my new 6 pack Abs! Came shipped with a broken power switch in the battery case.. Least it's broken in the on position so I just unplug the cord. It also said it comes with 2 bags which is a total LIE!! Register the product and they will send you another bag. But they don't ship to PO BOX's makes it kinda hard to get my second bag since PO Boxes is what we use in Hawaii. But whatever saves time... makes money.. we'll see about my warranty claim and about my bag.(Update:)Ordered all the bags, fine bag and ultra fine is all you ever need.Handle rusted off in 3 months replaced with high grade marine brass and good American stainless screwsCord is well worn but works. I keep waterproof grease in the plug and prongsThe switch I mentioned is a circuit breakerThe flapper lid that keeps the dirt in the bag if you unplug underwater has been replaced 4 times.Fits in all troughs so farFits on all stairs!!! Freaking hate that it leaves white paint marks on dark plaster like if it slips off a stair or wall transition is too tight.!!! Near deal killer! Make it out of same plastic that riptide uses!! Needs to be made out of cutting board plastic or knee pad kine.If using fine or ultra fine bag it won’t suck itself to the walls but for the first dozen strokesSwivel caster wheels made me a better dancer, with my carbon pole it’s game over.Could use a slightly bigger motor can’t go where riptidexl can. Never gets that suction seal... kinda sucks to the walls sometimes regardless of bag type, will not work in 4 inches of water or less ever...Still the very Best battery cleaner out of them all! I’d buy it again, I’d buy a quite few more than that if the made a 10 inch wide one with bigger wheels moved further towards the edges.

Don't Buy This - You'll later regret it if you do
I purchased the PV 2100 almost three weeks ago. It was advertised as coming with two bags. Spent the extra money on the front end and bought the micron bag as well. When the equipment arrived there was only one bag and a mail in card to get the other two bags. Before receiving my PV 2100 I went and purchased a 35Ah 12 volt Duracell battery. The instructions do not include a specific battery model that will fit their case. The battery case received is different from the one shown in your video. The case is too small for the battery I purchased. The door of the case had to be secured with two bungee cords. The instructions say to tie the bag ½” behind the black tape at the end of the bungee cords. If you follow the instructions, the bag will blow off and spread debris all around your pool. I retied the bags 1 1/4” behind the black tape. After two minutes of use, the bag blew off again and was sucked up through the bottom of the unit. I haven’t found a way to securely fasten the bag to the unit and keep the bag from blowing off.I called the company where this junk was purchased, and they told me to call the Power Vac company. I’ve called Power Vac three times and only got their voicemail. They have not yet called back. If they would give me a refund I would gladly send this back.Although the concept is excellent, the machine doesn’t work as advertised. This bulky, poorly engineered unit is too much hassle to use and has really made a mess of my pool. Don’t buy this!! At almost $1000 for the equipment, battery and extra bags, it’s nothing but an expensive, worthless piece of junk.

Best commercial vac for the money
I bought my first PV2100 in 2014. My second was delivered this week (2020). If you plan to use it for your pool business, be prepared to buy (or fabricate/improvise) parts along the way. You’ll go through flaps, plug ends, bags, and wheels (especially wheels). And the moment you see rust around the seams of the motor housing (took about 2 years), pull it, sand it, neutralize it, and then repaint with a good appliance epoxy. In other words, maintain it and it’ll last for years.Well built and extremely serviceable by both the novice and creative types, my 6 year old PV2100 will be rehabbed and shelved for use either as a backup or for any future new hires. It’s ONLY real weak point is the body, which, when scraped along the sides of dozens of pools a week, year after year, wears away the edges and diminishes the suction power. Even then, it’s still a powerhouse, and the only truly portable commercial pool vacuum that doesn’t REQUIRE an expensive cart and tow package. I carry it to every pool, and I’m not built like The Rock.I also own a Hammerhead Resort model with the 30” inch deck, with the cart and all the extra stuff. I PREFER the Power Vac. It’s more versatile, can reach all the tricky corners, and is easy to pull from the pool to an attached hot tub and back.
