No power, no problem!
The light bulbs do exactly what they are supposed to do! If you lose your power, the light will stay on. Also, by attaching the item with the push button, you can use the light bulb and hang it anywhere to use as a lamp even without power. I live in the country and we lose our power quite often. These light bulbs have saved me from living in the dark (even without a generator) many times!

A NICE ,Always ready, long lasting option !!!
Holy Cow, I can't believe how great these are! They do last, they are bright. The 3 settings are quite adequate. I can see 'low' would be enough , in a blackout to handle any in-house or close up task. Any light in a DARK room/area is a good thing. These have pretty good longevity also,(Good Battery) H/M/L settings are handy. I drove home in the dark on my golf cart with one and it was a life saver when my lights quit working. Every person I've gifted these to has been amazed and loves them. I leave mine i the cellar light so it gets a good charge at least daily. Just find a commonly used light and swap these in. Great camp/prep/tent/Kayak tool. Functions fine so far.

Great Idea! They're Great! But, Be Wary.
We often experience power outages when Nor'easters blow in, so I bought a pack of these rechargeable bulbs to help. At first, I thought they were great. They worked as advertised. You keep them charged, and when the power goes out, the bulbs stay on, so you're not left in the dark looking for a flashlight. They stayed lit for at least five or six hours, giving you the feeling that you still have power. I've used them for probably four months now, through two hours-long power outages. But today, while in the kitchen, I heard the bulb I have screwed into the ceiling light socket, where it has been for four months, begin to sputter and pop. It sounded like a Tesla coil. I immediately took it out. It was not hot, nor was it discolored. I read that these bulbs have a tendency to buzz sometimes, but this was not just a buzz. So, because of this experience, and because I cannot find anything more online about it, I am sadly not going to use them anymore. I was using this particular bulb in a socket controlled by a dimmer switch. I did read where that can have an impact on the behavior of some bulbs. So this may not be a bulb problem, but I will not take a chance. Too bad, because I like them. So, I would suggest just keeping an ear out when using them just to be sure.

Not enough light provided for daily use in living/bedroom areas
I purchased the Neporal Emergency Light bulbs, 15 watt led, 3000K, for emergency power outage preparedness. I ordered and received the bulbs in a timely fashion. The bulbs looked durable and the color of the light was not harsh, but warm for home use. I had great expectations for these bulbs. Opening the box, I discovered the bulbs were about 50% larger than standard (60 watt) LED or incandescent bulbs. But, I was willing to accept this, as they would be placed in the bigger lamps in my home. I then placed the bulb in a lamp (with a shade) and turned it on. Wow! NOT much light from a 15 watt LED bulb! This bulb puts out less light than other 9 watt LED emergency bulbs I have purchased. The lumens for this 15W LED bulb was 750 lumens as compared to a 9W, 800 lumen LED emergency bulb I already have. At best, this bulb maybe could be compared to a 60W incandescent bulb.....maybe! I have standard 75W LED bulbs, that use 13.5 watts, and emit 1100 lumens. If you need a soft light for your living room, or any other room, then please buy this one. I'm sure it is a great light for emergency use, but for everyday use the lumens are just not enough for my use. I can use lower wattage LED emergency bulbs (9 watts), have a smaller bulb, have greater brightness for everyday use, and save more on electricity cost. I'm sorry to say I will have to return these Neporal 15W emergency bulbs!
