Great gloves.
In terms of the quality of the leather, these are probably the nicest gloves I have ever owned. The color turned out to be very slightly darker than the picture, which was actually exactly what I wanted because I was afraid they would be too bright. I measured for just about a size 8, but when I read the reviews I decided to order a size 7.5 and I'm very glad I did because they fit absolutely perfectly. The fingers are exactly the right length, and even though I had to squeeze them on just a bit, it was worth it as I can tell they will conform to my hand nicely. My one and only complaint, and what kept these from being a perfect 5 rating, is that I see and can feel the stitched seams in the fingers. I was hoping that the lining would cover the seams on the inside, but it appears that the lining is stitched on the inside of the fingers, rather than between the lining and the leather. I found this very unusual as all my other lined gloves, even the cheap ones, the lining seams are between the outside and inside layers where they do not touch the fingers while wearing the gloves. I do not recall seeing anyone else comment on this. I would have thought that in an expensive pair of gloves that the stitching would be well covered so that they do not irritate the fingers. I am hoping that they will soften over time and have decided to keep them regardless of this complaint.

Problem with Seams in Fingers
These gloves are very nice, but the stitching of the seam lining is too noticeable when wearing to be comfortable. The fit is right for the hand and fingers, so a larger glove would not be the answer. I have a pair of silk-lined leather gloves I bought in Italy that I very much like, and these just don't compare favorably with them. I sort of feel like the Princess and the Pea - the seams would drive me crazy. The return policy is generous, which I appreciate and which leads me to give them three stars instead of two.

Beautiful gloves
These gloves are perfect! Soft, comfortable, and look amazing with my.blue for collared coat. Perfect match! I added different photos because of the lighting. You won't be disappointed.

Nice thin leather gloves
The fit was perfect and the quality seemed really high, but the color was not at all what I expected (they basically looked white - hardly any hint of the pink I was looking for) so I returned them. This return was exceptionally easy - easier than the usual Amazon return, actually, because this seller provided a USPS label (sooooo much easier than UPS, which Amazon prefers) and picked packaging that is easily reused. No hassle. I already reordered a different color to try again.

Simply superb!
Fratelli Orsini Women's Italian Silk Lined Leather Gloves Size 8 Color 13-CordovanThese are the nicest gloves of this type I have ever had the pleasure of handling. The leather is so soft and supple, the color is exactly what I expected and they fit, well, like a glove! Perfect finger length and feel so good on my hands. I did heed other reviewers' advice about snug fit and I sized up one size to 8. The workmanship is superb. Now I'm off to post another 5-star review for my Fratelli cashmere-lined leather gloves! Very high quality company!

A little luxury never hurt anyone!
Butter-soft leather in a wonderful chocolate color! I always feel pampered whenever I put these gloves on; it's the little luxuries that make me smile.I purchased these gloves to replace a similar pair that I'd finally worn out. I had been looking around for quite a while and was surprised how hard it was to find silk-lined ladies' gloves at all, let alone in a size over 7.5, so I was delighted to find these. Most of the gloves I found were well over $100, some in the $200+ range, and I just can't see spending that much. The price on these (around $70) was a much more attractive price point. The size 8 was actually a little bit larger than I'd expected - the glove width as well as finger length. I could have ordered the 7.5. You want these to be snug at first; the leather will stretch and form to your hand as you wear them.Silk-lined leather gloves are great for cooler weather, and on those cold mornings when the heat hasn't come up in the car yet but you've got to keep your hands on that cold steering wheel. They're surprisingly warm for the thickness of the lining - which is thin enough that you can pick up a dime, work the click-wheel on your iPod, or unzip your coat or purse. Try any of those things while wearing regular gloves!I'm very pleased with the purchase, and am trying to find an excuse to buy another pair in a more "fun" color.

very poor quality
I was quite disappointed in the quality of the leather and the workmanship of these Italian leather silk lined dress gloves. The gloves seemed perfectly beautiful but after 3(count them - 3) wearings, the stitching at two fingertips has ripped open. The quality of the leather is poor and they already look shabby. I have passed the 30 days since purchase so I can't return them. I had originally planned to purchase 3 pairs of leather gloves (great color choices) Now I'm glad I only lost money on one pair. Regretfully, I would not consider future purchases from Fratelli Orsini.
