take your blinders off
don't expect delicious smell, melts quick so I cut in half, and drain between uses. tried the Bittim first. a slight stripping feeling the very first time, probably from removing old product. thereafter, moisturized but not " gooey ". absolutely no bathtub ring, no more scalp itch, not scratching anymore. eighty year old mother tried it , and it is better for her than the soap recommended for radiation patients, at least for her.

Not really pleasant.
The pistachio soaps was the nicest of the 3; although I can't vouch for it actually having pistachio oil in it. The castille has a faint smell of vanilla but not of olive oil. But the worst was the alepo style soap - laurel & olive oils soap. It smelled of neither and instead had a very strong odor of charcoal or ash that you get at a cold camp fire. Not exactly pleasant. Gave it 2 because well - it is soap, and does clean. (FYI ashes used to be used as an alkaline to make soaps long long ago).

Not the most Pleasant-Smelling Soap . . .
These soaps may be hand-made, but they have a chemical smell that I am not especially fond of, and I think that they are a little too thick in size, making them awkward to use. They do lather, and seem to serve the same purpose as any other soap does, but because of the chemical smell, I do not use them in the shower--only as hand soap.

This Soap was purchased to help fight off my oily skin and now after two weeks I can surely say that My skin stays clean and dry longer than other soaps.
