Base is a cheap aluminum-type "metal."So light that you can't recline it, as it feels like it will tip.Assembly was a nightmare, with the screws all mixed together, and the holes not complete in some spots.It's difficult and jerky to adjust up and down.Overall I'd give it 2.5 stars. I would recommend saving and getting a Clutch-branded chair. Hubby has one and it's fantastic, I just wanted to save money. Oof, now I'm going to buy a different chair and maybe give this to my daughter, when she's old enough.But honestly, there are better chairs out there for the same price as this (and even less). I should have shopped around more, but the reviews were good. :(

Assembly was super easy and it’s so cute! You can do it solo in 15 to 30 minutes tops. All necessary tools are included, and you can easily wing it without following the instructions step by step, although it definitely makes it a little easier. It’s the perfect size for me, considering I’m 5’3, 135-140 lbs, and I do think it relatively falls on the smaller end of gaming chairs. All in all, I absolutely love it, and I definitely say it’s a steal for the price and color, especially since most things ‘pink’ in the capitalistic gaming world will cost you a little more.

The chair was almost lost by Fedex. Not the sellers fault. This is my daughters birthday gift, its what she wanted.Finally, she received the chair, easy to put together, everything is wonderful.......short lived. She has had the chair for about two weeks and the speakers stop working. All she gets is static, she is very upset. After waiting and almost losing it because Fedex left it at someone elses door, now no sound.I will reach out to the seller.UPDATE>The package was late, no fault of the seller. But I am impressed with their service. Shortly after receiving the chair, the speakers stop working. The seller was quick in responding to my email and sent out a replacement part for the speakers. They now work beautifully. Thank you.

Its been about 9 ish months since I've bought this chair -Assembly was very difficult, as the cut out holes for the screws were not aligned. I had to cut through the fabric a bit to get it all together.The first few months it was great! It was comfortable and I was able to sit criss-cross, arm rest adjustments are great, as well as the height and back rest adjustments. After a while though, one of the backrest bolts fell out, and due to the horrible pieces, I could not get it back to where it was supposed to go, so the backrest leans back and I can't sit upright without my back hurting. Not only that, but it is INCREDIBLY squeaky. It sounds like an old spring mattress. It does get stained easily from black clothe dye, and although it's pretty easy to clean with a magic eraser, it'd be easier and comfier to put a blanket on the seat. The speakers do work great but I never used them, forgot it even had them until writing this.Overall you'd be better off getting an actual ergonomic computer chair that's cheaper, or if you're like me and love a pink aesthetic, find better options (im buying the D.Va secret labs chair, so hopefully that one will be well worth the money).

One of the wheels broke off in 4 days of my son having it. I had to take the other wheels off and duct tape wood to the bottom of it to keep it steady as it can’t sit flat on floor without the wheels due to the chair center bar going so low under the legs

Chairs ok once you figure out how to assemble. Directions complete trash. Whole right side of chair the holes were not punched in fake leather. I had to figure it out myself. If i had to buy again would definitely looked elsewhere!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The instructions weren’t accurate with how you were actually supposed to build it. The holes were covered up so it took us a while to get it built. The chair was comfortable once we put it together.

Love the chair. Was disappointed when I took it out the box and seen this spot on the back of the seat. Took about 45mins to put together. It was fairly easily. It's comfortable. But very happy
