This has become my Go-TO Book!!!
I started searching on YOUTUBE for ways to create passive income. Needless to say there is a lot of content out there on this subject. I wanted a book to help me and use as a guide without having to watch a ton of videos. I searched on Amazon and came across this amazing book. I don't typically read a ton of books but I found this to be very interesting. This book isn't just for millennials. I am 45 (Gen X) and found this to be very helpful. There are a lot of gold nuggets in this book. If you are looking to take action then this book is a great start. I love the flow of the book and how things are set up. She keeps the book fun, hip and cool. With the information, I was able to quickly decide what I wanted to do and things I wanted to eliminate. I have already reached out to a few of the individuals mentioned in the book. And these people are REAL and willing to help me with my journey to creating passive income. So not only does this book have great content, Rachel included mentors that could help you!!!Someone mentioned in the comment section that Rachel doesn't mention the RISK. She does mention that this book could have been longer but decided to keep it simple. If you are serious about creating passive income then you are going to have to do some extensive research and budgeting in order to be successful. So depending on what business model you decide on, you have to factor in time, budget, logistics and risk. This book is a perfect guide and start. It has become my "GO-TO" book. Thanks Rach!

Super approachable, not boring, and surprisingly effective — if you're ready for a kick in the butt
Rachel's 'Money Honey' really helped spur me on to better savings (I paid off all my student loans, partly in thanks to her kick in the butt). That one was easy. This one...means business. Don't get me wrong, it's a great book, it might be legit changing my life, but it will make you feel all the things. WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE is one example. WHY CANT I MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS RIGHT NOW, is another example. HOW DO I GO BUY 18 HOUSES IN THE NEXT 12 MINUTES? WHY AM I NOT A CREATIVE GENIUS? That kind of thing. The mood swings are real, at least for me. She makes it sound so easy, I get a bit mad at myself. Jacq, you don't need to go buy 18 houses. You don't need to be a creative genius. You are fully equipped with the tools to make a passive income. So why haven't I BEEN doing this??But...I'm telling myself this is all a good thing, because you know what? I've started my first passive income stream. (This has been a long-time dream of mine far before this book, but I didn't know what to do). I didn't realize, until reading this, how many options I had. Now it feels like the power is in my hands, which is both scary and daunting and "ohmigod" but also totally freeing and liberating and "I feel such a sense of potential." I hate that this woman had this answer this whole time—that all these people did—and I'm just now catching on. Gah. In a sense, it feels like waking up.So, in short, buy the damn book. Be prepared for all the feels, and then do something about it.

Earn passive income so early retirement is possible
Passive Income, Aggressive Retirement contains 28 great ideas (Rachel Richards, the author, counted them) to achieve retirement early. In the past, the traditional method of saving and investing in savings accounts, stocks, and bonds, was the main way to generate passive income, but she shows how that will never work 100% in today’s worlds. With today’s ultra-low interest rates, one would have to save about $2 million to generate enough passive income to retire. That is beyond the reach for most ordinary mortals. With passive income, Richards means income flows that in time will exceed monthly expenses, which means at that point true retirement is possible. She stresses often that passive income doesn’t mean no work to maintain these income flows, but in time they can become low maintenance/high income sources. She presents a load of ideas, urging the reader to pick a handful to pursue on the road to financial independence. She doesn’t claim expertise on any single method, but she isn’t afraid to try her hand at those which interest her most, and she has turned that interest to great success for her and her husband, so she urges the reader to consider taking similar bold steps. She also provides a lot of resources for the reader to consider in expanding their knowledge even further after she has piqued our interest in the 28 methods. I’m looking forward to testing her some of her ideas as I further my own flow of passive income toward aggressive retirement.

More than I expected
This book is packed full of useful information for it’s length. I found it very easy to read and the author explains this in ways that make sense to non-financially educated me. I highly recommend the book to anyone looking for options or ideas for how to get out of “the daily grind” work life.

Years Worth of Knowledge in One!
I understood passive income types well beforehand, but Rachel gives you the key points with honest judgment for every single type. The passive income streams I would have turned down beforehand is now near the top of my list. Thanks, Rachel!
