These installed very easily with the 2 sided tape provided. Just make sure that you have a good flat surface for it all to stick to. Went one with no issue and holds my firearm very well.

These are super strong magnets. I have not installed them yet but 1 will go in my car and 1 on the back of my headboard of my bed. Priced right as well!

There are cheaper magnets out there, but my experience has been you run a quality control risk of getting a weak magnet. For a few bucks more I feel I'm more likely to get what I expect. Anyway, these magnets are strong and do the job. Easy to mount too.

This is a pretty neat idea and I'm sure it would have worked fine. The problem in my Jeep is there's no place to screw it to and I think the adhesive it comes with is very sticky.

I just got these delivered, but there are no instructions included with them. The magnets and VERY strong. There is no way that your firearm will come loose while driving iver the bumpiest road or even in an accident. I am wondering what size drill bit is needed to secure the counter sinks. The is no information on this, and before I install them, I want to be certain. I am concerned that they will be ripped out of the console wall if they are not set exactly. Can someone tell me? I am thinking about getting some stronger counter sinks for the screws to go into, but I need to know which size to get and what size bit to use to drill them into place. Thanks in advance for this information.

Upon opening the box I was 4th of July blown away as to the quality of the product. The representation of the US flag was done very well. Excellent product.

I bought a pair of magnets that said they held 25# but they would not hold my hogleg when the side of the slide was up against the magnet when mounted on the side of my console. Found these guys 2 days before a long road trip and they did a great job with no movement. I used the 2 screws and glue strip to attach it to the console plastic. So glad I found these and saw they were rated to hold 50#!!

It comes with adhesive grip but the magnet is very strong so you definitely need to use the screws, included, to anchor it. It won't stay attached to whatever you affixed it to with just the adhesive and you'll pull the gun off with the magnet still attached and that's not good if you're ever in a situation where seconds count. The adhesive is good to set it where you want it, then easily use the screws to anchor it without having to hold the magnet in place at the same time. Overall a good product, recommend.
