You get what you pay for. This light is flimsy and dim. I recommend spending the extra money and buying a slightly nicer light. This one doesn't even have an on/off switch! You have to manually unplug it.I attached two pictures, one before installation and one after. The new light is on the bottom shelf in conjunction with the single LED bulb. You can see it doesn't throw much light at all, it's so dim I could leave it on at night without a problem. So I kept the single bulb LED light as a supplement.The top shelf has a nicer light on it, it's 25 watts and SO much brighter! I will probably end up just buying a second one of that light.I gave it two stars because it functions, but it's way worth it to buy a nicer light, you're going to end up needing it! The brighter light on the second shelf is by GloPanel, and it doesn't have very good reviews on amazon, but it's worked for me for 4+ years with intermittent to constant use (it also has an on/off switch)

My plants are getting rapid growth on new stem shoots within just a week. I had to overwinter an older croton that was dropping leaves due to the cold climate where I live. The warmest place for the plant was in the basement which of course had no light. This light works well and I placed it about 2 feet above the plant. I had previously asked a question about the distance. I took one star off because the description says it comes with a 48" cord when the cord I received was only 39". It also wants to fall out of the receptacle on the lamp itself. It will stay but you have to be careful not to bump the lamp or it will fall out. It doesn't seat well. Also the description says something about a UV detector of some sort which I did not receive.

Been using this for about a month now. Brought my herb garden indoors for the winter. Garlic chives, chives, oregano, mint, Spilanthes. They all love it! EZ to hang, put on timer...got lush dense growth. Plants happy, me happy!

The plants like it! I run it 5 hours a day. They do get some sunlight, but I think they're starved for light at least part of the time. Leaves are sprouting which I take as a good sign.

I live off the grid. so when I have to leave a few days I swap out the high power lighting for these 14W LEDs. the planets to don't mind and the battery banks last longer.

Purchased a new and used grow light. The new light functioned out of the box but the used need to have some of the LED's re-flowed as 2 complete LED rows were not functional when arrived. All is working now.

working as expected. Glad to get my spring planting started. Couldn't be done without it. I like that it doesn't get hot.

For the price, the plans are good with this (not great, but good)
