Good looking and quality, easy to assemble, stable enough for hats and light coats etc

Disappointed
Absolutely gutted with this product. As you can see the holder has no screws for some of the hooks which means you cannot add anything to it. We tried but the coat holder nearly broke. Disappointed as it is faulty screw holes missing, disappointed we cannot use it for its purpose. A waste of money!!

OK for lightweight items and needs two perople to assemble
Nice looking natural wood product, although the 'oak' colour was definitely far more like pine, being very pale.It took about 30 minutes to assemble and definitely required two people, especially when securing the two hoops to the hanging arms. It took a fair amount of strength to pull everything into place when applying the last remaining screw as the screw in the hoop section did not align with the hole on the corresponding arm of the stand. It needs one person to pull the hoop into alignment and hold it steady whilst a second screws it into place. Similarly, with the rest of the assembly, it's easier to have one person hold the two parts that need to be joined together whilst the other operates the screwdriver.Once assembled, the stand looked sturdy enough, and when I put just a few coats on it all was well. However, when I added some more jackets later in the week, (distributed around the whole rack, not just on one side), it overbalanced and toppled.I'd therefore say that, due to a slightly flimsy base, this stand is best used only for a few items or just lightweight coats, and for that purpose it will be perfectly fine. If however you need hanging space for a lot of coats, or heavier garments like walking coats, I'd suggest looking for something with a more substantial base.

Great alternative
Love this versatile, well designed, cheerful item. Assembled it myself, it holds so much as well, like i've got it totally covered in coats and hats etc and it's so cool, looks better than i expected.

It's OK - a little flimsy because NOT made of metal (as per description). Poor Instructions
What more to say? The headline description of this product gives the material as "Metal", although in fairness the detailed description does say it's birch, which means it's more flimsy then I would have expected. The assembly instructions were very poor. My advice to anybody trying to put it up would be to use the location screw holes to work out where everything is connected. Then only partially screw everything together. Then when you've got *all* the bits together tighten it all up. Let's see how long it lasts

Sturdier than I thought
This was a little tricky to assemble at first and I only realised at the end that it’s best not to tighten it too much until it’s all together then tighten a little bit at a time, but once it is done I felt very proud of myself and was surprised how sturdy it was, happy to recommend
