DAJING PVC & PP-R & PAP(Polyethylene- Aluminum Compound Pipe) Pipe Cutter With Maximum Cutting Diameter 35MM

I purchased these because the cutter I already have often will severely pinch my hand when it snaps through the last part of a cut. This cutter has a gap between the handle ends when fully closed so it cannot do that and this is why I chose these.. From this standpoint, I really like these cutters. I have cut PVC in hard to get places and I no longer have to fear the very painful pinched hand.I did have some issues, however, when I received these cutters. The biggest issue was that I could not open them. The manufacturer had over tightened the blade hinge nut. Adjusting this was easy, though, and then they worked fine. When I did this I noticed that this was not a simple bolt and nut arrangement but, instead, a well designed tension adjustment. Overall, I find the construction to be sturdy and well executed so I believe these cutters will last.

So it worked well for the first day but the 2nd to the last knotch in the blade ended up rounding and not it wont close all the way. Im a heavy user but it only took 2 week to fail.
