Size:5x Magnification Our innovative rotating, locking suction cup allows you to place the mirror on another mirror or on the tiles next you so you can have the mirror at eye level without straining and without requiring a cumbersome base. The easy lock suction cup allows you to quickly detach and store the mirror when you are not using it - and also makes it the perfect travel makeup mirror since it can be stored taking up less than 1/2 sq ft. This amazing mirror provides a clear 6" screen that allows you to get your entire face in view at once, while also providing a powerful 5x magnification and LED light to focus in on key areas. Large enough to be used for makeup and grooming, with a lovely warm LED light to give you the natural light you need to look your best; powerful enough magnification to be used for eyeliner, mascara, eyebrows, and grooming of unwanted hairs.

Edit:If I did it over again, I'd mount this mirror to a horizontal surface. Locking suction mechanism is impressive but not perfect. In this case, it would still be a decent option for the price (use tracking site to avoid short-term price spikes) and considering the competition. After six months, the batteries started to go out, which presented as odd electrical activity - coming on in reaction to steam and being less sensitive to touch. if I had known to change the batteries, I might have avoided touching the mirror more to turn off this "ghost" activity. Alas, perhaps due to more touching, after five months of solid suction to mirror, it fell in the middle of the night.Original:Best value lighted vanity mirror available. I've been looking for a few months for a lighted magnifying mirror in this price range. The magnification level, size, adjustable angle, locking suction mechanism, and price made this model stand out. If you're willing to spend $75-$150, you have more options. However, unless you want metal housing (instead of plastic) and a countertop stand or permanent wall mount (instead of suction cup), it's not clear that the more expensive options are better.A warning: Do not try to place this mirror's single suction cup on a vertical surface without reading about and using the simple locking mechanism! More on this at the end.The 7x magnification level is just about right for seeing stray hairs and checking that my make-up is even. While browsing in Bed Bath and Beyond, I found 12-15x models to be disorienting (not sure about 10x), sometimes creating distortion around the edges and requiring very close placement of your face to get a very small part of it in focus. As for the size, total diameter is 7" and mirror is 6". I'd previously been looking at Tweezerman's LED mirror for the same price; Tweezerman customer service told me 5.25" total and didn't mention the smaller diameter of the mirrored surface. The rotating arm is great, too. The rotating arm makes it much easier to position comfortably at various angles, even for two people of slightly different heights. My impression that the Tweezerman may be mounted flat and stationary with a few suction cups instead. The arm makes the mirror bulkier and you can see the reflection of the back in your bathroom mirror if that's where it's mounted, but this is minor for me given its functionality. The arm folds flattish for travel (be sure to protect the surface from breaking during travel!).Back to the locking suction mechanism, it is clearly explained on the back of the box and on a paper insert (twist counterclockwise to unlock, press firmly to surface, twist clockwise to lock), but at first I was in a hurry, mistook the front description for instructions, and the insert was loose in the box and didn't come out with the bubble wrapped mirror. Now that I know how to use it, I'm impressed with and confident in the lock.

Easy to Use & Worth the Price.
I always read the reviews on everything I purchase. So, I feel like honesty is the best policy or I could be wasting someone else's money if they decided to purchase off of my review. So, my suggestion is to really do your research on if 7X's magnification is what you want/need. Make sure you don't want a double sided mirror. Because, as this states it is not! This also does not extend at all, so in just a standing position it's not very tall & does not come out very far when attached to a mirror. But, ALL of the features were described in the description so I'm just giving you a double check guideline if these could be things that might possibly bother you. I do however really Like the mirror for the price. It comes with a black bag for travel, however I don't travel so I can't really review that portion. It is Extremely Easy to take on & off surfaces without messing with the suction cup. It basically does what it says it will do, & it is good for a nightlight. I Only wish the stand was a bit longer in length. Making it a little more convenient to access. But, that's my fault for not realizing that due to my bathroom setup. I also wish that I didn't have to replace the batteries AS often. I do NOT leave the light on for an extended period's of time & I've already had to replace the batteries twice within within a month of purchasing. SO, THIS IS my only TRUE REAL fault with it. Or, else I would of given it five stars for the price.

Suction cup fail.
I like the functionality of the actual mirror and light, however, my unit's suction failed many times over the past year, and the mirror has fallen and broken at least ten times. The battery cover broke during one fall and the mirror has continued to shatter a bit more each time. I really wanted to like this but I can't really use it anymore. I haven't tried to stick it anywhere tricky, just on my wall mirror.

Big dud
When a product doesn't work, I try to contact the manufacturer/shipper first, but since I haven't heard from them on this product, I have to go ahead and say that the mirror has not worked as expected. Within about a week, the light surrounding the mirror dropped about 50% in intensity, and today the light has gone out completely. It could just be this is a dud. It happens. I'm just giving a heads up, because there might just be more than one dud.

Excellent quality. Fits all my needs.
I have a magnifying mirror with LED light and a stand from Costco that I use it on my vanity. I want one that can attach to my bathroom mirror and take on trips. I have brought a cheaper version of this type of mirror, but it keeps falling off and the image is distorted due to the manifying property. I took a chance when I bought this one and I absolutely love it. It is more versatile than my Costco one and the quality is as good. The LED light turns on with a gentle tap around the switch, doesn't have to be exactly on that tiny button. The light is soft but adequate. The unique suction mechanism keeps it attached on the vertical surface. The seller sent an email with video instruction on how to install it. Basically, I held the suction cup against the surface, twisted the base clockwise until it locked and it feels very secure. It comes with a nice black velvety pouch with a separate battery compartment. It needs 3 AA batteries, which are not included. The mirror can be adjusted to any angles. The image is crisp and no distortion at all. The size is perfect with 6 inches viewing surface. I really can't find any flaws except the price may be a little high, but the quality is worth the price. Overall, it is a great purchase and I am happy!
