Series 3 Electric Shaver for Men, Electric Razor for Men, UK 2 Pin Plug, 300, Black Razor

I like it. Bought to replace an identical item that was 5+ yrs old, because the rechargable battery on that was only holding its charge for 3-4 shaves. A fully charged new battery lasts at least 10 shaves, sometimes up to 2 weeks. I find the closeness of the shave is good enough for me, although I do go over the same area 3-4 times with each shave to catch stray hairs.

Works well when it goes , sometimes I press start and it goes bzzzt and stops, even if charged up. I plug the charger lead in for a second and it now works ok. I find these Brauns work ok for a couple of years then just stop working, even though well designed, waterproof and dry inside, they do not last long. This is my fourth.

This is my third Braun shaver. The previous one, also from the Series 3 lineup (model 330) served me well for 12 years, so naturally I wanted to go with another Braun. I'm not disappointed. It does its job well, feels softer than the previous shaver and is quieter. It's not magical though so don't expect to shave off 100% of hair after just one pass. That's probably impossible with this type of shavers (foil) because of different hair growth directions - you must always go against the hair growth direction. But the shave does feel quite close. I usually shave every other day (48-hour interval), but the shaver handled 72-hour hair with no problems. I like the fact that the removable shaving head is a single unit, rather than two as in the previous shaver (the foil and the cutter block were separate). Overall, the construction of the shaver is much simpler than my previous one, not least due to the lack of a built-in trimmer, but also because how the shaving head attaches. Simpler construction will hopefully mean fewer chances for breaking something. The main con of this shaver is the lack of accessories, especially the long hair trimmer. The next model with a trimmer that I could find wasn't able to shave while charging (an important selection criteria for me), in addition to a much higher price. Instead, I ordered a beard trimmer kit (part BT32) which *I hope* will fit this shaver (apparently it should). It's also sad that the shaver doesn't come with a brush, a storage case and machine oil that the previous shaver had, but this was known before purchase and the low price reflects minimal accessory kit. (Actually, I can use the brush from the old shaver and still have some oil left, so there's less waste!). The shaver does come with a protective cap though, so the lack of a storage case is hardly an annoyance. An important note on the charger's plug. It's a 2-pin plug that *looks* like an EU plug but *isn't* - it won't fit into an EU socket! (I bought it for use in continental Europe). But it fits into a UK power plug adaptor I have for use with UK appliances, it's a special shaver-only UK plug standard (apparently "BS 4573 (UK shaver)" - you can look it up on Wikipedia). The charger is apparently interchangeable with other Braun shavers (if those shavers are marked accordingly) but comes with a straight cord, whereas my previous one was slinky, which was more comfortable to use when shaving while plugged in. P&G support (which owns the Braun brand it appears) told me the old charger is not compatible with the new shaver despite the output current and the connector being exactly the same, which is a shame, because my old charger was for EU sockets. I wish they made the chargers standard, interchangeable and optional to reduce the amount of electric waste.

It"s OK but does not shave very closely. It"s the third cheap electric razor that I have tried and none of them have really been good. Also, as with most of them, you will need an mains adaptor to charge it up.

Lasts me 2 weeks between charges. Feels lighter and quieter than my previous Braun but a good, close shave and v good around lips and nose. I don't think it would be very good at 2+ days stubble but if that mattered to me I'd buy a trimmer. It does stop without warning when flat. I have a shaver socket, so thought I could just plug in and carry on, which would also remove the worry about long-term battery life (the battery has to be replaced by Braun so that won't happen much at this price). However, I foolishly bought the slightly more expensive 'works in the shower' model before realising it's probably the same thing but with the option to shave while plugged in disabled for safety, as they both work wet? So, I'm very pleased at the price and performance but wish I'd bought the cheaper model.

Does not feel as good a quality as my previous series 3 and it doesn't have the side trimmer but it shaves well enough for the price.

Comme toujours , Braun propose de très bons rasoirs électriques , et celui ci ne fait pas exception à la règle , il est très efficace sur les poils longs ainsi que les courts , et il n’irrite pas la peau , ce qui n’est pas le cas de tous les rasoirs électriques ! Je recommande fortement cette marque !

Qualität ok, gutes Zubehör, Preis-Leistung ok. Benutze den Artikel schon lange und bin sehr zufrieden.
