I am glad with the purchase. As i do research always before to buy anything, I did for this infrared straightener as well, and i find it very good words and i find in really good price, discounted 71%. Water tank its not leaking, so its really safe for using. Fast heating, just a few seconds and its ready to use it. There is modes for different type of temperature and can be using like cold steaming, depended from the hair. The steam makes looking natural hair oil and shine. Other plus for me its that after a hour, automatically switching off.

I remember loving my old steam babyliss straighteners back in 1997 but the ghds came out and back in the days where poker straight, thinned out hair was trendy, ghd was the way forward. But I wanted my healthy thick hair back so I searched for steam straighteners. I went for these as they weren't cheap (cheap usually means useless) and they had tourmaline coating (tourmaline plates were something an old hairdresser of mine used to use and always make my hair soft and shiny).I got these and washed my frizzy, wavy, unruly hair straight away so I could test them.They exceeded all of my expectations. The wide plates make it a little touch to reach the root area but only people with my horrendous hair will need to reach that area.My hair feels soft and silky and looks shiny, despite being bleached!If you have to do your hair in quite a few sections like me you will have to refill the water tank 2-3 times but it's so easy to do with the supplied bottle.The steam doesn't fire out of the straighteners so no burnt hands but this product comes with a protective globe anyway.Overall I absolutely LOVE this product! Bye bye 90s poker straight thin burnt out hair and hello shiny bouncy hair.

I saw an amazing steam straighteners video on Facebook which made me go on a huge research mission into these style of straighteners.I have very frizzy damaged natural curls, from years of fighting with ghds,every straightening spray under the sun anf blow drying it crazy just to be left with a scruffy mess of hair that poofs the minute I walk outside!I came across these and after googling the hell out of them I went for it and chased the sleeky dream! (Husband bought them for my birthday)When I first opened them they looked very professional,well made and had the bag,bottle glove and clips. THEY ARE HUGE!! I am used to gods slim shape and these are VERY wide plates! The pictures don't let them show how big they are! I've used these 3 times now since getting them and don't get me wrong they work! My hair stays straighter for longer ( still wake up to a bird's nest though) and seems in better shape but I have had a lot of broken hairs come out! ( When using, look at your lap or chest after using them) still takes about the same amount of time as ghds as where they are so big it's harder to get close to the roots and keep putting dents in! I suppose that will come with practice and time.Overall am happy with them they do the job but not as amazing and life changing as the reviews on here would seem.

Tested this on my 10 year old sister's hair her a was dry and matted then I used the staightners and it looked like someone else's hair so smooth moisture and tangle free ! I used the lowest temperature too !! As I am mixed race I have Frizzy coarse curly hair can't wait to use them on myself ( once my weave is removed)

Brilant straightners I believe they are better than GHDs. They came well packaged. The case is nice and is good that it came with clips and gloves. Everything was packaged nicely. They are easy to use and the instructions were easy to follow. They heat up really well and the steam action is amazing. The lock system is a good idea. They are too big to curl mid length hair. All in all a great product well worth buying! The girlfriend said her hair was left feeling lovely and soft. Really chuffed with these

After deciding I wanted a steam straighteners, I spent many days trawling Amazon before going with these.And I am over the moon I did! I have curly, frizzy hair which used to take me about half an hour to straighten with ghd's. Even then it wouldn't be perfectly straight, it would look frizzy and it would look worse as the day went on.These are amazing tho!! So quick to straighten my hair, it looks in good condition, shiny and frizz free, and my hair stays straight. If these ever break down I would 100% buy another pair! Delighted!

Left it a while before reviewing these as I really wanted to give them a try to see how I got on. For a budget straightener they are pretty decent, however, I do find that my GHD's are quicker for straightening. With these straighteners I do need to go over the same section a few times until I am happy with how straight it is and feel it doesn't quite straighten the roots well. My hair is naturally straight with a little frizz once blow dried due to colour/heat damage so it isn't in the worst condition. I feel my wide plate ghd's do a better job in straightening and keeping the hair straight. What GHD lacks however is the infrared and steam function, do I feel my hair is better since using these straighteners....ever so slightly but Its likely just as much damage given I do need to go over the same sections more....I wouldn't say they are amazing but for the price I do feel they perform well and to a certain extent they do prevent the hair drying out as much due to the added steam but not sure if the infrared really makes a difference to be honest.

Impressive product for short or longer hair, has large heating surface twice the typical once and stightne the hair on single pass, has some attchements and can be removed and used as a hairdryer, overall, decent quality feel to it.
