Great portfolio for my work and my wallet!
I got this portfolio for school. I needed a portfolio to submit at the end of the semester for a grade and to transport my work to and from school every week safely. I am working exclusively with 11"x14" paper and it fits perfectly with room to spare. The width of the portfolio sleeve is exact, but the length is very generous and there is at least 3/4" of room at the top of the sleeves. It was easy to slide my work into the sleeves and there is a piece of black paper separating the front and back of the sleeve so you can use both sides to display your work. The cover is bendable but very sturdy and is trimmed around the edges in a thick nylon material that looks nice and would prevent the edges bending. The overall profile is very slim so it wouldn't take up much storage space. Manufacturer's stickers are a huge pet peeve of mine and I absolutely hate when they come off in multiple pieces or leave a sticky residue. Thankfully, this sticker comes off easily in one piece and leaves no residue behind. I also like get archival quality for such a low price!Overall, for the money this is high quality portfolio to store your finished pieces. I will be ordering again if the need arises.

Just what I Have Been Looking For....
My children are in their 20 and over the years I have collected quite a few 10 X 13 photos of them. The current photo is always on display but the others were just being stored away since I had no way to display them safely. These portfolios were the answer. They hold all their special photos with room to spare for future photos. They nicely hold the 10 X 13 photos as well as the few 11 X 14 photos that I have. The portfolios themselves are compact and lightweight so they will be easy for me to tuck away but nice enough to pull out whenever I want to browse through them. I ordered one portfolio for each of my two children so that when the time is right I can pass down their photos to each of them. Since there are spare pages in each portfolio I may even rearrange them and add in some of their artwork and other photos that I have saved over the years. The price on these portfolios is very reasonable and I find the quality to be very good. My order was shipped very quickly and I received the order in less than a week.

A perfectly acceptable entry-level portfolio...
Honestly, I would never use this case to display a professional portfolio to a review board or a critic. That said, this portfolio is still a quality product that is very useful for protecting and displaying images at a reasonable price.I bought this portfolio for a class final in which we were asked to put together a collection of 25 photographs that we had made throughout the semester. The professor told us that we would not be graded on the portfolio itself, but on the quality of the images. Being a poor student, I was able to pick this up for less than $20, which was ideal. The cover of the portfolio is durable matte black plastic, which is perfectly nice, but also looks somewhat cheap. Again, not appropriate for a professional review. The sheets themselves are durable, but they do have a slight texture to them, which somewhat obstructs the finer quality of the photograph being displayed. During my critique, each image had to be pulled out of the sleeve individually in order to be properly judged. This was perfectly acceptable in an academic setting, though.I've kept those same prints in this portfolio since that class ended since this serves as a great protector and organizer for them. I can see this being more useful for people making presentations consisting mainly of printed text.

48 11x14's Easily Viewed & Protected
This is the best 11x14 portfolio case {w/24 pages = 48 images} for my photos that I've owned over last 30 years.Taught university beginning photography for years & have seen/used them all.One bit of caution: don't get rough or hasty in placing or removing photos as the rather thin plastic covers will bend & leave mark. This is merely part of correct care + careful insertion steps that MUST be taken to ever maintain any life to this item AND still have very thin, very clear plastic with no distortion over (valuable?) prints. I like it so much for my numerous 11x14's, I've ordered another.Product is well manufactured and has professional feel when passing photos around group of reviewers, i.e. it's easy to hold in hands or placed in easel set-up because of stiff front/back.

Perfect, does the trick!
Does the trick! Nice materials, bought it for my charcoal, graphite and colored pencil drawings, nice to be able to clearly show them by turning pages and keeping them protected inside the sleeves...no touching required. Good value for the price, just know there is no zipper closing, it would flap open if you wave it around. Plan on buying a zippered tote anyway, so not a problem. Appreciate the 2-sided pages so you can fit 48 drawings inside. The pockets/pages are roomy, you could even add more sheets to each sleeve if you wanted to stack them (not recommended for original art) and the archival quality materials are just what I wanted!

Love these! We started buying these regularly
Love these! We started buying these regularly. They are "art portfolios" but we use them to document paperwork - for example, bills, or receipts, or invoices, or just anything we get that we need to file away. I know we can use file folders but it's nice to be able to flip through a book and see it all in one place, especially when some of the items are not standard size (for example, donation charity receipts tend to be slips of paper that otherwise get lost). We have about 6-7 of these now and love being able to keep everything protected and organized. Our friends with kids also use these to store little mementos such as drawings or notes etc they get from their kids. If you don't need the black sheet within each slip, you can remove it and throw it out. The black paper does keep everything more organized though. Overall, there are several uses for these and they are excellent quality. We love them.
