Work well and very comfortable
Great glasses. I ordered the Renegades first and sent them back because they didn't fit well and blocked my peripheral vision too much. Theses are great! They don't get dark enough if bright sunlight but you have to understand you are buying a $40 pair of glasses not $200. Great value in my book.

These are a bargain
They are well made and they are photosensitive which is an amazing feature. They are cofortable and fit well inside my helmet and since they are shatter resistant i am considering a pair for working in my shop as well.

Very good for the money
For the money these glasses are great. Perfect for riding when you know it'll be dark on the trip back. They darken up decently, not as dark as normal sunglasses but work fairly well for the money. The build is ok but I doubt they would fair well if I dropped them a few times. In the long run we'll see how durable they will be.

They are okay...
I wear them on every ride. I ride daily. The only thing I don’t care for with these is that they just don’t get that dark. It’s barely enough and it works for me because I ride with a full face helmet with a tinted shield. Alone though they aren’t very good for shades in the sunlight. Great at night though and seem to be durable. Just don’t count on them saving your eyes from the wrath of our star.

Amazing glasses and the cost makes them that much better!
I dont know what people have to complain about! These are amazing! Exactly as described, transition fast, great packaging (box is nice, and has a soft case with cleaning cloth), and look great! They even have a life time warranty! Maybe they dont get as dark as my oakleys but if I wanted glasses that dark I would wear my oakleys. These get plenty dark and I was getting compliments from everyone I ride with. These things are great and the cost makes them better!

WOW! I'd take the pepsi challenge with pretty much anybody else with these glasses
I now compare the clear vision to any other sunglasses. I cant get over how well they reduce glare. Of coarse not as well as polarized, but I need to see the imperfections in the road and these are crystal clear. My only complaint is that they are so clear and comfortable, I forget to take them off before my helmet. They go flying while removing my helmet and are pretty beat up after only 2 weeks. Now I've gotta buy another pair and pay attention. I also own Serengeti and Gargoyle, My Bobster's are my favorite even off my bike.

Disappointed.
These shades will be my cloudy day shades as they are not good for much else. They do not get very dark in the daylight, and are way too dark at night to see where I'm going. Maybe if you only ride in urban environments and you are not facing the Texas summer sun these will work out for you. I put them on and went outside like I do with my other 2 pairs of photochromatic shades. By the time my bike is warmed up those are dark. Not so with these. I actually had to stop a block away and switch to normal dark shades as I was having trouble seeing through the noon day glare. So I tried them at night. Fine in town under street lights but soon as we got between towns I was chasing taillights all the way into next gas stop where I switched to normal clears so I could see what I was doing. I like Bobsters, they are durable, fit well and work good, but Bobster needs to work on these photochromic shades as they are pretty much useless to me.

lOS SIENTO MUY CÓMODOS Y LIGEROS
Me gustó el diseño y lo que no se es si protejen de los rayos UV, pedí los claros. Como no los he lavado todavía, no se que tan delicados sean para las rayaduras. Espero que me duren

Updated review: Aug 2020
Bought for my boyfriend. So, I’m doing this review on his behalf. I’ll try my best to give a good overall review since I only ride as his passenger. It’s been over 1 year now. Super happy with them. Loves that it’s CE protected. He wore these sunglasses from Vancouver to Tuktoyaktuk and back. He almost didn’t tell me this out of worry. He was on the Dempster Hwy and was behind a semi when he had a good size rock fly at him and no lie, probably saved his eye. I shudder to think I’d had been wearing his normal sunglasses. His bobster glasses had only a minor, minor scratch from the impact. He doesn’t mind the foam padding. He likes that the foam isn’t bulky and has a nice curve to fit the face. It definitely keeps the dust and wind out. Though he wasn’t used to the foam right against his face in the beginning. Took him a ride or two before he got used to it. The photochromic is dark but not super dark. There is another Bobster style that goes darker (Invader). I think he’ll get those next. The sunglasses go medium dark. Not as dark as he would prefer hence why he might try another style when these are done. They’ve held up for the past year and survived going to the arctic and back. Overall the best $50 I’ve spent since it’s saved his eye.

Love these
I’ve been using Bobster glasses for years. My favourite, and what I’ve been using for the last 5 years was the Rattler. But Bobster has discontinued them. Then found this one. It has a very similar design, and the same photochromic lens. I not only use them when I ride, I also use them on a regular. Especially in winter, it cuts the wind, and keeps the snow and cold wind from hitting my eyes. They are light weight, have a nice design. And the fact that it’s photochromic, you can wear it from day to night, without ever switching glasses or lenses. The main difference between the Rukus and the Rattler, is the Rukus has a closed cell foam liner. Which adds extra wind cutting abilities. The only thing I wish that these lens were, is that it got darker when the sun is out. Both the Rattler and the Rukus only gets about 70% tint. Which is sufficient. I never had to squint to see. But darker would be cooler. What I also have noticed, at least with the Rattler (I’ve owned 2), is that at some point (usually in the 3 year mark), the smoke grey tint doesn’t really happen anymore. Instead, the lens turns to a yellowish tint. Not sure if photochromic lenses have a life span. Seems like it does. Still decent to ride with on a sunny day, but not as tinted. But still perfect for the night riding. Hopefully, the Rukus will be different than the Rattler in that respect. And for the price, it’s not a bad buy. Cheaper than if you get from Bobster directly. I’d get these again.
