It's true that this doesn't pluck extremely easily, but I think that's good. It's sturdy and won't be falling apart any time soon. Plucking is certainly doable.I also find it helpful that the bottom is not attached. It makes it easier to reach underneath if you need to pluck the foam all the way through to fit a large figure. If you need to fit a smaller figure or want to try to match the contour of your model, ripping the foam only partway through is totally doable.This is enough storage for me for right now, but I would happily buy a second if I acquired more miniatures. This fits large 28mm scale figures that you would base on a 45-50mm base like D&D trolls and ogres quite nicely. It's larger than you need for orcs and humans. The 1" (25mm) size is perfect for that.

Well made and good. The only issue is that the pieces are kind of hard to remove even with a knife they dont come out super clean. Still nice. Foam is on the softer side like in their descriptions.

“Pick and pluck” is certainly a misnomer. You have to cut it apart with a razor, and it isn’t easy or simple. It is extremely tedious. Worse, is that it has a bad habit of tearing if the cuts don’t line up EXACTLY. The ticker foam is much harder to work with than the thinner pieces, but even the thin ones will take hours to cut out correctly (be sure to measure your cutouts exactly or you are wasting money). The price is outrageous for what you get. It’s poorly-pre-punched expanded foam—it costs pennies per square foot to produce—sold to you at an extreme markup. If the cuts were twice as good and the cost half as much, this MIGHT come close to a good value.
