At first I loved this tape. It looked great and covered areas that looked unattractive around the inside perimeter of our old tub. But it didn't take long before it began to pull away from the surface leaving gaps that would surely catch and hold water defeating the primary purpose for using caulk - to seal !

So, I'll confess right up front, I'm not a particularly handywoman. That said, as a homeowner, I do know my way around a toolbox and for the record, even have a Nikita drill, but this stuff perplexed and, alas, ultimately defeated me.My mistake (and I admit it was my mistake, but the reason I'm writing this is to try to save others from making the same one, and becauseI think perhaps their product description could be a tad more clear) was that I bought this tape to help me silicone the edge of my bathtub. Unfortunately, when it arrived I recognized it wasn't really suited to that job, it was thick and stiff and clearly not going to be easy to work with. But it was HERE, and I wanted to get the thing finished, so I used it as border tape.Cut to: about an hour later and when I try to remove the tape, it basically takes all of the silicone I'd so carefully spread into the edge between the tub and the tile with it. Ok, like I said, my bad, but just fyi, THIS IS NOT CAULKING TAPE in the sense that you want to use it to help you caulk something. I guess it's supposed to replace caulk(?) Am honestly still not sure exactly how it's supposed to work. Anyway, I gave them two stars b/c perhaps it does actually work in place of caulking, but for my purposes it was a disaster.

The adhesion isn't strong at all. When you use a hairdryer it definitely helps but it's still not as strong as I'd like. Will have to see about it being waterproof and how long it might last. If you use on tub just note that this tape needs to be cut in straight lines ONLY. You can NOT bend this around tub corners. Therefore, it makes the finish product have lots of seams. Not a bad product overall but I would call this a temporary fix. Please properly caulk your tub. I used this to hide my messy caulking job where the tub meets the flooring.

This caulk tape is great. I used this on our tube. We have tile wall surround inn the tub area. The caulk was just not working. I washed the area really well and placed this where it needed to be and it has sealed the seem perfectly. Many very hot showers later it has not lifted at all and is keeping completely dry. Great product.

This is going to be replaced soon.I was surprised when I peeled the tape from the back of this strip just how not sticky this is. You can feel it when you press your fingers onto it. Yes it is sort of sticky. But I was expecting this to have a strong adhesive feel to it. It doesn't.So I made sure everything was dry and clean after taking the old tape off. Then put this on and in places it just doesn't want to stick all that well. I've pressed it on repeatedly, and in places it does well but just not that good.

Great for repairs here and there! this is self adhesive and helped me cover many holes on my walls before I applied wall paper on top!

After a couple weeks of getting wet, it loosened in the middle and it's difficult to remove. Maybe I didn't apply enough pressure to that spot, but I wish it'd been on an end instead of in a turn .

Bought this to avoid caulking because when our tub was put in there are two parts where they left HUGE gaps so caulking seemed unrealistic so I hoped this would work but it only stayed on one side the other two sides of the tub so ended up removing it all
