This bag is just as advertised. Looks great and well made. I compared all the leather travel bags for sale on Amazon like this one and I think by far this one is the best choice. Based on price and features this one wins hands down. Delivery was quick. Some reviewers mention the smell, but hey, it's leather. And, the smell quickly dissipates in a day or two after letting it air out. Leather is a little stiff, but I'm sure it will become more supple with time. Just like a new baseball glove, it takes time to get broken in. The only know is that a couple of the metal feet on the bag sits on are loose. Otherwise it's a great bag for the price.

Great leather bags will cost you. This one is good, not great. I have a couple of great ones and I can definitely tell the difference in construction. For the price point, though, it's a good bag. I was looking for an inexpensive option that had the features I wanted -- size, end zip pockets, 20"-26" (this one's 24"), and a front zipped pocket. This one fit the bill. There are really only two things I'm not that happy about, that I think should be standard on bags of this size and price ... it has no feet on the bottom, and it has no stiffener. Getting the bag scuffed is almost a necessity for leather -- it adds character, but having feet on the bottom helps extend the life of the bag. The lack of a stiffener bugs me because having it helps the bag stay flat on the bottom. Neither issue is enough reason to return it, but I doubt I'll buy another. For the $90, it's a good leather bag.

I got this bag as a gift for my husband; we take a lot of shorter 2-3 day trips so we don't often need to pack a bag that's really large. This bag is awesome! It's the perfect size for a shorter trip, it's durable and well-constructed. The zippers are sturdy and the stitching promises to give a long life of service. It's got pockets on the side for shoes or shaving kit or whatever, and the little pocket across the front is handy for small things he needs to get quickly without digging through the whole bag. The handles (one long shoulder strap, two shorter handles on top, and one on the side) make this bag really convenient to carry and haul around. No matter how you grab it, there's always a handle handy! I'd say this bag was a good purchase; he's given up his ugly old boring canvas duffel bags and he's looking forward to using this bag on our travels for many years to come!

I genuinely appreciate the bag. Although it has a slight odor, it does not bother me excessively. To ensure the freshness of my clothing during travel, I will simply wrap them in a plastic bag. Overall, it is a well-crafted duffle bag. 🙂😄😃👍👍👌👌👌!!!!

This thing smells absolutely awful even after 7 months. You can't put your clothes in it Or bring it anywhere without embarrassment. It is a beautiful looking bag. It's just unusable because it smells like death was part of the tanning process. When this bag is in the back seat of my car, I should drive by the dump and open up the windows so it smells better. That's how bad this bag stinks after 7 months.

This leather duffle bag represent very good value for money. I've applied leather conditioner to ensure it keeps its nice visual appearance and already have had favourable remarks from people who have seen it. Suggetions to Manufacturer: 1)Would appreciate a removable base to be supplied with the bag to ensure it keeps it shape when full. 2) The long leather strap would really benefit if it had a clip on each end to make it removable if / when people don't wish to have this strap on smaller trips.

I am writing this after looking preremptorily at the goods. I don't understand previous criticisms but maybe they'll appear in time? The bag is strong it'd seem and a good inner finish (rough so the bag won't get damaged by sharper goods). The shoulder strap is separate so can be taken off. There is a smell of leather. It isnt animal urine but finishing. It will go shortly I should have thought. This is only a first consideration of the bag though. I think it seems a good buy particularly for the price. As time tells it may be a matter of time to see. It appears good leather. It appears durable and the finish is good. It might be slightly too big but we'll see.
