It certainly looks the business and kept the kids amused try to open it for a few minutes - there's a trick to it (from the bottom). Easy to put up - one screw in to fence post in our case behind the buddleia which has been swarming with insect life all summer.To be fair we've probably come to this part a bit late this year but that's when the birthday is (it was a present) so we will see if the little beasties move in over the years. Fingers crossed.

Have bought two and they are very good. Have paid for three more and Amazon are messing me about saying they 'seem to have gone missing etc'. I don't think they have any - but they have taken the money weeks ago.Beware.

this is a great item, what i love about it is that it has a zinc roof to it, should keep it in good condition for longer but as yet no butterflies yet?

It is well made and strong, I recommend it to butterfly lovers, as its a pleasure to see themGo into the butterfly house.

Fit for purpose

This is very nice. Its much bigger than I imagined. Its got a door and a small cute latch on its side, so you can put some sticks in there or nectar for the butterflies. As soon as the annoying rain is over I'll run to the garden and hang it!
