Salomon Men's Speedcross 5 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes

A little snug when I first tried them on, but after walking around a while I realize they fit just fine. I have used these for just golf, best golf shoes I have ever had. I was concerned about scuffing the greens with the aggressive tread on the bottom but this has not been an issue. I walk 18 holes (pushing a cart) 3 or 4 days a week and after 6 rounds there is no evidence of wear on the bottom. I do try to keep off the cart path and walk on grass as much as I can. Comfortable, durable, good looking, and the easy pull up "laces" all equal a great product. These are waterproof and I just bought a second pair (of the non-waterproof version) for summertime use.

I've had my pair of Salomon Speed Cross 5 GTX since Apr. 2023 and they still surprise me each time I slip them on. If my feet could talk they would probably describe these shoes as comfy house slippers with cleats. I appreciate the next level of engineering that went into these shoes. From the stealthy gortex shell to the quick-release wire lases. Water and debris won't get in and so easy to put on for a quick step outside without tying any lases. BRAVO. I have very high arches making it so so difficult to find shoes that don't hurt my feet. My feet require a wide toe box and extra cushion under the ball of the foot. To make these shoes perfect for me, I paired them with the AIRR Softsole Perform inserts.

Love the colour, fit, feel! Materials are top notch and I can wear them for over 12 consecutive hours with no foot pain! Made for running, but I wear them for nursing! Run larger then other Salomons. Says men but I had to exchange for a size 9 US. In women's Salomon I wear a 9.5 US. 🤷‍♀️

The feel and fit on these shoes are perfect for me. When you first get them, it feels like a tight fit, but they loosen up quickly to comfortably fit the contour of your foot. If you have a wide foot, make sure you order “wide” in your size.

I owned a pair of Salomon hiking boots years ago that were comfortable and durable, so I thought I'd give these shoes a shot. After a week I give them a thumb's up. If you float between shoe sizes based on the brand, go with the larger size. I like these for the gym since they are functional, attractive, and aren't the run of the mill shoes everyone else is wearing. Finally, no fault of the shoes, but the delivery time was much longer than other products on Amazon. If you need the shoes ASAP, try elsewhere.

The shoe runs a little small. I wear a size 13, but got a 14 in the Salomon. It fits perfectly and the traction cannot be beat. I am looking forward to the next time I use them.

I'm obsessed with the Cross 5! This is my fourth pair and I could live the rest of my life with only these shoes. I have a C width flat foot and finding shoes that fit this well is always a challenge. This design provides a support that feels custom to my feet, and they look great with so many looks. And the bonus is that I'm always getting compliments on them. Big fan of these Salomons!

Not going to lie, the Salomon shoes (depending on what you pick) are not cheap. But, these shoes have been the best I've ever purchased and I'm in my 60's. I like the Salomon brand so much I recently purchased a second pair. I wear size 9 US and they fit my feet perfectly. I film (video) a lot of outdoors sports and, some times in inclement weather, my feet remain dry. I highly recommend the Salomon product. Hey, I'm not a bot nor have I been paid to say any of this.

I can’t say enough about the Salomon Speed Cross running/hiking shoe. For an ALL weather runner and hiking shoe, it’s been amazing. I walk at least 4-5 k a day in the forest with my dog and the grip is still in great after 1 year. Now it was wearing, so I bought a second pair but the shoe itself is still in great condition. Very comfortable and dry, through rain and snow. I honestly would not get another outdoor shoe. I love how easy they are to put on after you configure the shoe and laces to your foot. I’m now the owner of three pairs and alternate depending on the activity.
