I would have liked to have a slightly larger lip/edge that supports the bottom of the book. I personally would have not had it made out of plastic but rather some lightweight metal. I am using an 800 page book. After messing with it and figuring out the adjustments this product does a good job of handling my book.

I love this book holder. I use it very day for reading in my chair and for reading in bed. Its easy to use and steady. So much better then holding on to those heavy books. It works with any size book. I would recommended this book stand.

When I first set this up, it did take me a second to figure out the stand in the back. To set up, pull the knob out, adjust the back stand to where you want it and push in. This will then lock the stand in place. The grippers on the bottom really do prevent this from moving or sliding. I've used this on my tile counters and wooden desk and table. No slipping or sliding even if you touch whatever you have on this stand. I've used this with my cookbook, tablets and even my textbooks. The sides to slide to help adjust. What I love about this stand is it hold the pages in places. When it comes to studying, I'm able to type my notes from the book to my laptop without having to hold or worry about my book falling off my desk. Has really come in hand during study time.

Not for over sized or heavy books

I really like this book stand holder. I order it because I want to get some cooking books to learn and improve my cooking skills. So far, so i haven’t get my cooking books yet so I try to put my kid learning book on i, it is very sturdy and The base is heavy so it does not easily tip over. Also it is very adjectives, it can turns lower or higher and even can pullover for more length. It is UsefulI do not regret purchasing it and would like to get one more for my kid to reading books and learning words. It is obviously a quality item. I love it and will recommend to my friends.

it took a while to find what I needed but this ended up perfectly. I purchased a different one and ended up returning it cause it would only clip onto items. This product clips and holds books and you can rest phones and tablets on it too. Other holders only hold one or the other. This is perfect for holding onto books while I ride my stationary bike. I attached the rest to the handles and it works perfect. Couldn't be happier and it was a cheap upgrade

I bought this to help with my studying. I'm using two medium sized (300-400 pages) soft cover review books. The only sturdy part of this is the base. The actual book rest is flimsy. In pictures, I saw there were clips to keep the book open, however the springs are weak and doesn't do a good job at keeping to keep the pages in place while the book is open. The book rest can turn side to side as well, but if you do that, it causes it to slide down the base. Also, notice that the bottom part of the book rest is about 1/2 inch wide, which is not wide enough for the bottom of the books to rest. Overall, very disappointing especially given how expensive this was. DO NOT BUY FOR STUDYING!!

This book stand works well. It has multiple components and easy to install. Follow the instructions and it will be ready in five minutes.Sturdy, the right weight keeps the book stable and not too heavy! I like this design. It is mobile and can be used anywhere, not only for books, but also for tablets. Because its width can be adjusted freely, it can even be used as a mobile phone holder, of course you have to use its small clip instead of the large clip of the book.
