Champion 48" 2 Door Folding Metal Wire Dog Cage Crate Kennel with ABS Tray

First of all, the picture is wrong. The side door is NOT on the side pictured relative to the front door. Since this was the primary reason I bought this item, that was VERY disappointing. I had to take off the front and back sides by unbending all the hinges, then swapping, then bending the hinges back to make this work, which I shouldn't have to do.Second, As others have said, this thing is VERY flimsy. ANY dog you put in there that could possibly justify the large size of this crate (we have a husky) will be able to push out the front and back sides just by pawing on it. The securing clips are totally inadequate , which in the best case, will allow escape, and in the worst case, will collapse the crate and injure your dog. I went to home depot to buy clamps to firmly attach the front and back ends to the sides, which cost time and money, which I shouldn't have to do.It is serviceable now after those changes, but I suspect due to it's cheap construction that the welds are going to give before their time. I hope not.

I actually do love this crate except for one thing - the large door on the side sags and the latches are extremely annoying to open because of this. I have a 21 year old persian cat who is very possessive of HER stuff and she ADORES this crate, she currently is in renal failure and needs to be crated when I am not home and this is excellent for that purpose except that I need to clean her litter box twice a day and the gate on the long side is perfect for reaching and cleaning inside the crate but that same gate is very hard to deal with due to the sagging hinges and flimsy latches, I will figure out a way to reinforce it eventually but keep that in mind. I got this crate because it had a side door and end doors. The wires on this crate are not super heavy so I would not recommend it for a large dog that has anxiety since a stressed dog could bend the wires but a very calm crate trained dog would do really well inside. I got the large crate and I would not put a dog any larger than a spaniel or a whippet in it, possibly a small shepherd but the larger dogs like a rottweiler and up would require a larger size and a heavier gauge wire....but for the price this was a great buy and I would recommend it as long as you understand you may get annoyed by the flimsy latches on the side gate. Arrived quickly and although the box was near destroyed and two wires bent via UPS the crate held up well through that damage.

I have had labs for years (all ages) and I have purchased multiple kennels during those years. Recently, I purchased this kennel and was excited for it to arrive. The price was good, the size was good and it had two doors...all things that I was looking for.However, when it arrived, I was VERY disappointed. The metal is VERY thin and bends with the smallest amount of pressure (like the dog leaning on it). The doors/locks don't align properly. The one side has fallen in (on top of my dog) because the hooks that hold it together don't stay lined up. And, my dog has busted out of it three times...and I've got a dog that went through behavior training. So, she's not really that wild.Needless to say, I contacted the seller (who was helpful and willing to give me a refund...which I took gladly). And, I've had to purchase a new kennel since. This kennel only lasted for about 1 week.Long story short, the customer service was fine...the product was AWFUL!!!!

I did a lot of searching to find a decently priced cage for my growing dog. This cage was big, but the perfect size and very easy to collapse and move around. I have had this for 2 years now and have had no issues with it and it's still in perfect condition.

Great crate, easy to assemble, and a great size for my puppy lab. Will have enough room for growth.
