Worked perfect
I have a 89 Johnson motor 25 horse main motor on my boat and the water pump went out. I replaced the water pump but I broke this little clip piece. I ordered it from Amazon and it came the next day

It is a small piece of rubber but it is a critical piece for reassembling the lower unit shifting linkage. It arrived promptly and replaced the one I had dropped.

Made with hard plastic, Breaks easily, don't buy, save your money
Use a piece of flexible plastic, way better, I use a piece of zip tie and shave down one end to tapper it curve bend it to conformto the shaft, that's it, don't waste your money on this pissa junk.
